Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
This is our 5th stay at this home and we always love the space and scenery. The towels are a lot nicer than when we first started coming here. A few items were missing from our previous stay, like a large stock pot to cook crab in, but with the stores nearby it was fine. Be ready to make trips to Fred Meyer, Safeway or Walmart for laundry soap and dishwasher detergent. The housekeeping has always been spotty and the kitchen cabinets are always dirty, so we know to wipe them down when we get there.
The view from the kitchen, eating, and family room is always awesome! The walk down to the beach is much better than when we stayed at the Hallmark Inn. It's super spacious and comfortable for a family of 4 + golden retriever and a set of grandparents. Last year we brought my mom and there was still plenty of room for another family of four.
Absolutely loved our spring break vacation with our 8 year old here. We enjoyed the aquarium, the Hatfield Marine Science Center, Georgie's - twice, Clearwater, Deep End, but The Chalet was almost a daily stop for one meal or another. Gorgeous Views of the lighthouse, we walked down the very well designed staircase to the beach at least two times each day. And the hot tub was the perfect way to work out sore muscles. We got caught in some rain and small hail storms but after spending a winter in Seattle - this was perfect. We hope to return again and again!
wonderful house...close in, yet felt very secluded....great view, easy access
Our stay was absolutely perfect. House neat and clean, plenty of room and excellent view and location. I felt at home the whole time neighbors weren't a bother almost felt like we were alone. The only issue at all was no propane for the BBQ but that's a minor thing and do any change my views of vasca at all. I will be going back to this house in the future.
Beautiful house in a fantastic location. The bedding (sheets and blankets) are very poor quality though- to the point of making it uncomfortable to sleep. Bring your own blankets. There is also and incredibly loud furnace in the lower level that makes the fourth "bedroom" unusable for sleeping.
