Café Mon Bar, portail Matheron Street. A traditional and authentic neighborhood bistro.
Lamps and light creation by a local artist who recuperates old objects and recycles them into modern pieces of art–Campane Street...
We spend two months in this lovely flat in the Spring. It has lots of light, artsy decor, and lovely views to the street below. Just one street off the main street in town and close to the markets and shops. AC was quite helpful and worked very well. The bathroom was very new, bright, and clean. The kitchen is older and has no dishwasher, but has everything you need it make a fine meal. Lots of children's toys and loads of French books. The owner is exceptionally kind and easy to work with. Deffentenly a reccomended place to stay!
Avignon, is resplendent thanks to its former popes, who left an architectural legacy of imposing palaces, a viticultural legacy in neighboring Châteauneuf-du-Pape, and an artistic legacy each July during Avignon’s renowned arts festival. Its cobbled streets overflow with animated cafés, a wealth of museums within old mansions. Northwest of Avignon, Roman relics rise up in Orange, Nîmes and ARles. To the northeast, Vaison-la-Romaine also has a rich Roman legacy, with the largest archaeological site in France. Presiding over the region Provence’s highest peak, Mont Ventoux (1909m), is a snowy spectacle in winter and a maze of hiking trails in summer.
