While only an hour from Seattle and 30 minutes to Stevens Pass Ski Resort, you will experience all the benefits of complete escape. Our 2,800 sq ft lodge boasts vaulted ceilings with rustic timber beams, knotty-pine walls, and cozy riverstone fireplaces. Relax your cares away in well separated bedrooms with luxurious down pillows, comforters, featherbeds and linens. You will enjoy a fully equipped, open kitchen and 3 bathrooms all with granite countertops and eco-friendly supplies. The lodge is well suited for a vast range of guests and is as charmingly cozy as it is grand. All you need is a change of clothes and whatever sounds good to eat! If you don't feel like cooking, there are a handful of local dining options and a grocery store just a few miles away.

Our lodge will serve as the perfect 'home-base' to enjoy all this exquisite region of the Pacific Northwest has to offer. Relax on the deck to immerse yourself in the surroundings and observe native wildlife in action...eagles soaring, fish swimming and hummingbirds feeding to name a few. Spend your evenings toasting marshmallows and telling stories gathered round the outdoor riverside firepit. During the day, walk out the door and down on the bank to cast your line into what is known among avid steelhead fishermen as one of the best spots on the river! Skiing, snowboarding and the like can be found at The Summit of Stevens Pass. Hit the trail and marvel at the breathtaking Lake Serene or hike through nearby Wallace Falls State Park to hear the roar of its majestic 265-foot cascading waterfall. Thrill seekers will enjoy climbing the rocky face of Mt. Index, or rafting the rapids of our very own Skykomish River. For a beautiful drive and unique experience, head to the Bavarian village of Leavenworth for a day. If you fancy wine, enjoy an afternoon in Woodinville Wine Country to see and taste an array from over 75 wineries, both large and small.

Meanwhile, those who embrace simpler pleasures will drift quietly into serenity, surrounded by the thoughtful comforts and full amenities of the lodge. Enjoy quiet moments with a good book in a uniquely hand carved rocking chair overlooking the river and mountain range. Gather round the dining table for an afternoon puzzle or laugh-out-loud evening of board games. Gaze at the stars while toasting marshmallows and telling stories around the riverside firepit. Lay quietly at night and be lulled to sleep by the soothing sounds of the rushing river. Our lodge is accommodating and friendly to kids, senior-citizens and everyone in between! Enjoy a family vacation, friends getaway, business retreat...in any case, your expectations will surely be exceeded. Whether it's restful relaxation or activity filled excitement you seek, you've found your destination. You will leave with a happy heart, peaceful mind and priceless memories. ~

Best View in the Area!!

  • 5 of 5

This is a fabulous place to stay and relax. Don't believe the pictures, this cabin is far more beautiful than the pictures show. The view of the river and mountains is amazing! Our family of six fit very comfortably with lots of extra room. There was everything that we could possibly need. The kitchen was very well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated with lots of comforts. We really enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and exploring the little hidden park. The location is great since it's not too far from Seattle and not too far from the mountains! After looking at other cabins, we are so happy that we chose Riverfront Lodge! Nicole was so easy to contact and work with. We would definetely recommend this place to everyone. We had a great time in Washington!!

What can we can add to the already glowing reviews? River Bend Lodge is very clean, well-stocked, super comfortable, and gorgeous; the location and the view are stunning; and the owner goes above and beyond to facilitate a wonderful and relaxing stay at this exceptional property. What more could anyone ask for?!

Beautiful Views and Beautiful House!

  • 5 of 5

The view from this house is spectacular! From the moment we walked in the door, we couldn't stop admiring the picture-perfect view from the main floor and deck. We had 10 adults and 7 children/babies staying in this house and, while we did use every bedroom, it never felt overcrowded. There's so much living space to spread out in - the main living room/kitchen, the wraparound deck, the den, the reading nook upstairs, and the grassy yard with campfire pit.

The children loved the "kids corner" downstairs and all the lawn games while the adults appreciated the comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen. We all enjoyed playing in the river, both directly from the house and from the community parks. There's even a small playground at the park just a 1/4 mile (or so) west of the house. We also hiked nearby Wallace Falls and drove out to Skykomish to ride the train.

The only small problem we had was that the house was only stocked with 3 partial rolls of toilet paper and 2 dishwasher detergent tablets, so we had to run out to a store to replenish the supply after our first day. Everything else was well supplied - plenty of towels, spices, basic pantry items, pots/pans, kitchen utensils. We especially appreciated the careful labeling of each kitchen cabinet/drawer.

The house was very well maintained, clean, and the owner, Nicole, was lovely to work with. Thanks for a great weekend!

Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I had our adult children join us here for a week. This home was perfect for all of us. It was spacious, beautiful, and stocked with all the basic products you could want. It was so easy to just buy some fresh food in Gold Bar and move right in. I felt like the owners were very thoughtful about the needs of their guests. This was a perfect location for us to go rafting and hiking. This year was lower on water, but we had a great time. We drove over to Leavenworth area for ziplining and visiting the quirky town. We spent evenings having s'mores at the fire pit and watching a pair of bald eagles flying around and perching across the river. I can't say enough about how beautiful and relaxing it is here. Perfect!

Amazing!

  • 5 of 5

Five of us stayed at this extraordinary cabin for a long girl's weekend. We had an incredible time! It is so big and roomy! We could have had 20 people there and not be in each other's way. It is beautifully decorated. The owners, Nicole and Brian, have put a lot of caring and thoughtfulness in making sure that you have a great vacation and don't want for anything! The house is stocked with Seventh Generation cleaning and paper products and the kitchen has every appliance (including a waffle maker and crock pot) and utensil that you may need. There is a table for ten and a big barbecue grill on the deck. They provide back-up propane tanks so that if one runs out you don't have to go to town to fill it up. There are two sheds full of fire wood and they even have long skewers to roast marshmallows over the fire. There are three floors with the top floor being a master suite/loft with it's own bathroom, sitting area, and small deck that looks over the front yard. The beds are super comfortable and cozy with soft, silky sheets and warm blankets. I was lucky and got the master loft. I slept with the windows open and every morning I was greeted by the magnificent view of the river! There is Netflix and Hulu Plus, and DVDs to watch movies and there is a WII, too! We sang karaoke one night with Rock Band! They even provide the drum set and two guitars. We laughed a lot as none of us are good singers :) But it was fun! For anyone that has children, there is a play area/nook with lots of toys which made me wish I was a kid again :) The best time was sitting around the fire pit at night, talking and laughing. The sounds of the river and crackling fire was peaceful. During the day we saw several bald eagles "fishing". We forgot our fishing poles, otherwise, we would have fished too! One day we drove a short distance and hiked in Wallace Falls State Park. It is a beautiful area and anyone who loves hiking should give one of the trails a try. Most of the time we just enjoyed hanging out at the cabin, relaxing and laughing. We all enjoyed staying in this beautiful home so much, we are already planning another trip! The owner, Nicole, is personable and easy to talk with. I spoke to her for 40 minutes one day! I liked her so much, I told her she could come hang out with us one day if she wanted to! I will recommend this cabin to all of my friends and family. You will not be disappointed staying here!

Hide and Seek Closet

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I have recently relocated to Seattle and wanted our first Christmas without plane tickets to be memorable for our famiily. We stayed at the RiverBend Lodge during Christmas week with everyone, including our two grandchildren ages four and almost two.

The connected closet in the loft bedroom was an immediate hit as the "go to" hide and seek spot. Wonderful time was had by all.

Nicole and Brian were very gracious and the 20+ ft. tree in the main room was perfect.
