Hope is a unique and unhurried town featuring a historic district which looks and feels like the gold mining town Hope was in the 1800s. Residents and visitors can hike the mountains or fish the nearby streams, Wander through the historical museum and original log cabins, peer in the 100+ year old social hall, sip an Alaskan brew at the 100 year old pub at the shore of Turnigan Arm. The views are lovely, the mountains spectacular, and the Alaskans who live here are grand.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hirshey Cabin. The beds were fluffy and great to snuggle down in, we kept the windows open and loved hearing the rain on the roof top. The breakfast nook is a great place to start your day and the kitchen supplied all the essentials we needed to cook for our group of 7. Access to town and the trails was a short walk away where we enjoyed a late dinner at the Seaview.
Thanks for a great start to our Alaskan Adventure 2016. Hope is a great place to visit.
Was nice having both cabins so close on a very nice piece of property. But, must say that all mattresses in both cabins were very uncomfortable
Awesome place! We only stayed one day but wished we would have stayed longer. Close to town, and had everything you could need.
Log cabin in the middle of a forest fully equipped with every comfort. Great location, it is recommended. It was "my cabin in Alaska"
The area is amazing, the cabin is cute and worked out great for 7 of us. We had just a few concerns but nothing we couldnt handle. Just be prepared when you get out there is is quite aways from the grocery but who needs food when you can live off Alaska beauty
