Our family has loved to ski for 28 years and my husband Bob has enjoyed being on the Saturday Volunteer Ski Patrol at Park City Mountain Resort. We know skiing, and where the best place to stay is. We have owned these condos for 20 years and do our best to make your stay enjoyable.
Celeste Wertz purchased this condo in 1995
Location, Location! You just can't beat the luxury of staying at Snow Flower slope side ski in and ski out! This property is convenient and easy to find. There is really no need for a car when you stay at one of our condos. The ticket booth is right out the door of the building as well.
Also check our VRBO #813295, call even if the calendar shows dates reserved.
Bob and I live at the base of Parley's Canyon, Salt Lake and can hop up to Park City for any emergency. We manage everything about our condos and take pride in keeping them clean and updated.
We have come to park city at least 10 of the last 15 years, staying at both Park City and Canyons over the years. We stayed in a larger snow flower unit 15 years ago when we had 8 people traveling and really liked the location. This unit size was great for the three of us. The convenience of snow flower cannot be beat. A real ski in ski out location from building 2. If you have young kids this access is much easier than staying at the base of canyons, where you might have to walk a very long distance within the building before you make it outside to the lifts. This unit is comfortable and basic. The lockers on the ground floor are very convenient. The laundry room is very close. Free parking underground is great.
I'd recommend ear plugs since you are so close to the base area the snow cats can be loud at night.
Celeste was wonderful to work with. It was My first time booking on vrbo. I was getting very discouraged because so many of the owners I contacted had not updated their calendar or their rates were inaccurate. . Also many listings were really realtors again with inaccurate rates/ availability. Celeste's listing was accurate (availability and rate) and she replied to my inquiry very promptly. It was very nice to know she was nearby (in Slc). She was very flexible with a late checkout since no one was checking in, which was wonderful.
Would definitely book with Celeste again and recommend to my friends.
We just returned from a wonderful week of skiing and LOVED not having to load up the car or get on a bus in order to hit the slopes. We were in a very cozy 2/2 condo with everything my husband and I needed for a carefree week in Park City. (We were in a smaller unit which did not overlook the slopes so we did not have to deal with the beep, beep, beep and growl of the snow cats working at night.) The king size bed in the master was very comfortable and there were plenty of fresh towels. The ski locker was conveniently downstairs close to the elevator and there was a hot tub just across the side walk. We would definitely return.
We LOVED this condo and this mountain!! The condo is exactly as it says...truly a ski in/ski out. The condo was tastefully decorated and clean. Walk out the door and almost step on to lift. The locker room right off the slopes made it so easy to head in and out with all our gear. The hot tub was wonderful after a great day on the mountain. The owner Celeste is the best, always available and handles any problem if you need her. Actually we have stayed here many years and had very few problems, but if you need anything Celeste will help you out. We highly recommend and will be back.
True ski-in / ski-out. Well equipped, clean, convenient, spacious, comfortable for the 3 of us. "I shall return ! "
Three men in our 50s met up in Park City and stayed in this Snowflower Condominium. Everyone agreed that we should stay here again next year. The price was lower than other slope side properties that we looked at and the location was perfect for our ski vacation. We had a car (convenient garage parking in the basement) but you could get by without one if you don't mind walking a little to save on your vacation costs. It's about a 10 minute walk to the Fresh Market or Village Market for groceries, and about 5 minutes to a free shuttle stop, which we took when we went into Park City for ski rentals, shopping, and restaurants. We cooked most of our meals in the condo and found the kitchen to be well equipped. The Eagle Chair and First Time Chair are located right outside the back door of the building, as is the hot tub and heated pool. This made things really simple. There was a ski locker for us on the ground floor, and a lock was provided by the owners. The location made it convenient to ski in and have lunch each day. We couldn't have asked for a better ski in/out location. The condo was nicely furnished and the convertible bed in an alcove of the living room was very comfortable according to my friend who slept there. I won the coin toss and got the Master Bedroom and the King bed was also very comfortable. There were TVs in every room, wifi, and a dvd player in the living room. The bath towels were very nice and fluffy, and beach towels were provided for the pool and hot tub. First place I've been where the pool was just as warm as the hot tub; this was nice. There are 2 gas log fireplaces which heat really well and dry out your stuff in no time. The back porch provides a nice sunny spot to enjoy lunch while watching the people around the chair lifts. We used the gas grill on the back porch twice and it performed well. It takes about 30 seconds to walk to the laundry room which is on the same floor. The Eagle Chair provides quick access to the King Con area. The First Time Chair is a good for beginners, and will also take you over to where you can ski to the other lifts. I will offer up this tip: If you are a light sleeper you might want to bring some ear plugs as the snow cats work at night and their beeping noises could be annoying to some people. But that's just the way it is when you stay slope side anywhere. The owners were responsive, courteous, and very helpful with information. I would recommend this unit to a friend.
We had a great time staying here while in Park City. The location is unbeatable, as was the price. The lifts are just a few feet from the condo, and getting around town was very easy with the shuttle service. Having said that, there are restaurants that you can walk to from this location as well as ski rentals. We searched quite a bit on VRBO, and this was definitely the best value rental. We'd certainly stay there again.
Walk onto the slopes right out of the building! Look at the slopes from your bedrooms & livingroom!
