About the property

House, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6)

This amazing beach front home is located on beautiful Waialua Beach. From the deck, you are a few steps away from a pristine sandy beach, crystal clear waters, and amazing fishing and diving. The ocean in front of the house is perfect for swimming, snorkeling, diving, surfing, and many other water sports.

Have yourself a great adventure or just relax and enjoy the view and listen to the waves. There is interesting sea life everywhere as Molokai remains unspoiled and undeveloped. If you want to see true Hawaii, this is the place for you. Turtles cruise the shallows and whales frolic during the late winter and spring.

This three bedroom, two story house pole house has a deck which wraps around 3 sides of the house - perfect for lounging around and enjoying the peace!

My family and friends are from Waialua! We can suggest fishing charters, boat tours, dingy tours, snorkeling, guided hikes, etc! We want to make your Molokai experience truly special - a taste of real Hawaii!

Book with peace of mind, this is a County approved and permitted short term rental. Permit number = STMO 2013/0008.

About Manager

Aloha and thank you for considering my beach house. I was born and raised in Hawaii. I grew up in this very house on Molokai as a kid and then went to high school on Maui. I have great memories of Molokai and go back there as often as I can. I feel as though that is the one place on earth where I have been truly at peace. I have spent a lot of time in the finance world, working in NY, Philly, LA, Hong Kong, Japan, and even India, and have been lucky enough to see the world. Those experiences helped me to realize how amazing Waialua is and what a unique place Molokai really is.

I enjoy fishing, diving, surfing, and a lot of other water sports so Waialua has always been true paradise to me. Waialua has a very strong sense of community and pride. Enjoy yourselves, make friends with everyone, and be respectful! :)

Steps away from the beach

Great, quiet, peaceful vacation spot unlike any other Hawaiian island. 35 steps to a beautiful, unpopulated beach.

Absolutely Incredible *READ THIS REVIEW*

Stayed here with my parents, my brother and his now fiance, and my girlfriend for a week. My parents stayed for 18 days or so.

Hands down the best experience away from home I have ever had, and everyone else was on the same page. The locals are incredibly pleasant which was very nice. I can honestly say that you cannot beat this place. If you are thinking about Molokai'i, seriously consider this place.

The back yard and deck is where we spent most of the time when we weren't in the water snorkeling within the fishpond seeing all of the local aquatic life. It's hard to spend time indoors when the scenery is so beautiful. Night time and early morning views of Maui are pretty spectacular and you can see WHALES from just off Molokai'i all the way to Maui! Walking is available right out the front yard, and so is hiking. The locals are super helpful and will guide you in the right direction to get the most out of your stay. We spent the day in Molokai'i at the Makahiki Games which was fantastic and witnessed local Hawaii talent such as Blayne Asing and Eddie Tanaka and Friends. We also spent some time at the Saturday market in town where we acquired a lot of our fresh produce. DO NOT miss Kanemitsu bakery late in the evening, as the bread is to die for!

When you're on vacation and away from your responsibilities, it's looked forward to, to sleep in and forget about everything, but not here. Every minute you sleep in, you will regret it as this place is incredibly beautiful. I have nothing negative to say about our experience apart from the fact that I had a brutal sunburn on my back from spending way too many hours in the beautiful water right out the back yard.

One tip for anyone coming here is to pack light to Maui, and use that additional weight limit to fill your suitcase with food from Costco as groceries on Molokai'i are expensive. From what we hear, a lot of the locals on Molokai'i fly to Maui to get groceries at Costco and fly back.

Once we boarded the flight back to Maui we were struck with immediate depression (don't let this deter you from staying here) as 7 days was no way near long enough. We immediately wanted to go back and are hopeful that it can happen as soon as possible. Great memories were made, that will be cherished for ever.

Wow what a place. Waialua Molokai is really something special. We went for thanksgiving weekend with the family and had a wonderful time. House is great, beautiful, deck is perfect - very big overlooking the water and Maui in the background. Ocean and beach were exactly what we dreamed of. We are coming back very soon hopefully!!!

Friendly Isle Paradise

  • 4 of 5

Enjoyed our stay at this property.. Vacation rental right on the beach, perfect for 6 adults and hard to beat.. House requires some small kind maintenance, but the homes location and its privacy is the greatest.. Molokai is a great island to visit with fantastic places to see, its attractions, beaches and very friendly people.. We will definitely go back to this property again and again..

I love Molokai which is why I chose to go back this year!

The property was beautiful but to my surprise there were so many bugs. Huge spiders, worms and ants all over the kitchen. And when I grabbed a blanket from the closet there was a giant cockroach. Beautiful place but definitely needed exterminated. I do love Molokai though

Owner's Response: Hi Rose, Thank you for the review and feedback. We will have our cleaning crew get on this right away! So sorry to hear you had problems with bugs. Molokai is quite a wild place and any food left out tends to attract lots of bugs. We will also bring in an exterminator and have them do a sweep. Thanks again for the feedback. Aloha, Peter

Amazing pearl on Molokai

  • 5 of 5

We had 4 great night at the house snorkling, lobster hunting, swimming with turtles and enjoying the small private beach. Would definitely go back if we get the opportunity. The house could use a little work on some of the windows so you don't get to many animals in, but apart from that had everything you would need, simple but good.
