About Randy LoFranco

Randy and I have been married for 28 years and have three children and two grandchildren.

For the last 10 years a very good friend of ours had a condo in Huntington Beach that she allowed others to use. During that time we feel in love with this community and saved for years to purchase a place of our own. Just as our friend made her place available to us, we want to do the same for others.

Randy LoFranco purchased this house in 2012

Why Randy LoFranco chose Huntington Beach

Our goal is that those who stay at our home will have a fun and relaxing time. Let the beach wash away your cares. We have provided all the little comforts of home.

What makes this house unique

Our favorite thing to do in this house is to is to sit at the dinning room and look out the picture window as people walk and ride by the house. We open all the windows and let the breeze blow through the house. We play games and visit with friends.

A great stay at the little house by the beach

  • 5 of 5

Its a nice house and it has everything you could need. We were there for two months and had a lovely time. Its a great neighborhood for walking, of which we did a lot. We even got the bikes out a few times. Very hard to beat Huntington Beach.

The house was originally separate from the garage. At some time. the space between the two buildings became a connecting room. The result is that in order to get to this new "TV" room, you have to go through one of the two bedrooms. This turned out to be fine.

The owner, Randy, was quick to respond to any little request.

We look forward to staying here again.

I stayed at this property from August until early November of 2016. The property was very spacious and clean. The master bed was very comfortable. The location couldn't get any better, close walking distance to downtown and the beach, but still in a quiet low key neighborhood. I really enjoyed my stay here and highly recommend Randy's place. Very easy communication annd friendly.

Thanks again Randy!

Fabulous location and great beach house!

  • 5 of 5

What an amazing stay! We stayed for 3 months and enjoyed every second! We walked into the house and it was just like the pictures which was really nice (which isn't always the case with other rentals we've stayed in around the world). The house was fully stocked including the kitchen as well as cruiser bikes, beach towels, and boogie boards. The location cannot be beat - the house is 5-minute bike ride or 10-minute walk to downtown Huntington Beach. Also, I work from home, so I need internet and it was fast and reliable. When we first arrived, there was a slight issue with the internet and the owners took care of it immediately! Thank you to the owners for being so responsive! This house is a gem!

Close to everything; lots of amenities

  • 5 of 5

I have stayed at this house a couple times and it is an ideal getaway. The owners go overboard to supply both fun and needed items: bicycles, beach towels, boogie boards, games, stuff for children, books to read, washer and dryer, kitchen is well stocked. Lots of natural light from large windows at front of house, garage Beach and downtown are four blocks. An easy walk but far enough away to avoid the downtown late night noise. Huntington Beach has got lots of great restaurants, shops and water activities.

Great place for beach and SoCal, well-stocked, clean

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for half a month and it was a very pleasant stay. We're a family of four (with 2 kids, aged 6 and 3). We were using the house a base to visit family, friends, and sites in southern California. The place had everything we look for in a rental home. It was clean, tidy, and child-safe. For trips to the beach, there were plenty of towels, boogie boards, and sand toys, and even a big red wagon to transport them all in. We liked the area -- there are plenty of food options, and it's only two miles away from a Trader Joe's grocery store. There are a couple of parks with playgrounds within walking distance. And the Tuesday night 'Surf City Nights' on Main Street with food vendors, entertainment, and games for kids was really cool.

We've stayed at VRBOs before and this was among the best. The owners had a little notebook that described where things were in the house and what was in the area. The house came well stocked (if you've stayed in VRBO's before you know this often is not the case): there was handsoap, dish detergent, shower supplies, things for kids to play with like crayons and games. There were kitchen staple items beyond just dishes, like bakeware, sugar, plastic bags, aluminum foil, and plastic containers for leftovers. Both bedrooms had ceiling fans. There was lots of space in the closets, lots of extra pillows, blankets and sheets. We drove around SoCal extensively, and it was nice to have a garage to come home to when there wasn't any nearby street parking available.

The owners were responsive: we saw that there were wasps in the umbrella in the backyard, but the owners took care of it right away.

Couple of cons: For those with small children or limited mobility, you should know that the living room in the 'back' of the house (three rooms in) is two steps down. Also, all the pots and pans were teflon and some were scratched. If people have a preference to not cook with teflon, you don't have a choice. But the pros far outweigh the cons.

I would definitely recommend this place to friends and relatives.

The perfect getaway

  • 5 of 5

I absolutely loved staying at your house. Not only was it very clean when we arrived, but I appreciate that it was well maintained. I have stayed at VRBO's before and certain things were broken, outdated or missing, but at your house everything was in great condition, clean and new. It had everything I needed and it was so close to Main Street and the beach that my husband and I walked to dinner each night and the beach each morning. In fact we only used our car once the entire time we stayed there for a quick trip to the grocery store. You really don't need a car when you stay at your house. The decor was very cute, loved the granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, the beachy accents on the wall. There was a real pride of ownership and attention to detail. You guys did not skimp on making sure your guests have a wonderful time. Thank you for renting to us, we will be renting from you again next year!
