Tucked into this unique private location, this OCEANFRONT 4 bedroom luxury DUPLEX is rented as ONE LARGE HOUSE and sleeps up to 10. Each mirror image unit has two bedrooms and sleeps up to five. Prices quoted are for BOTH UNITS combined, we do not rent units separately.

This adorable oceanfront duplex bungalow is in the absolute best location, bar none! No long drives to town, no long walkovers hundreds of feet from the beach! Walk out the door direct oceanfront!

Although the house is an extremely convenient location, it is very quiet. It is located near popular restaurants, but is not located next door to any of them and therefore has NO restaurant noise. It is the ONLY house on the beach that is completely private with no foot traffic going to the beach on either side.

IMPORTANT: If you see a listing that does not show exact location then they do not want you to know!! Unfortunately rental listing sites do not verify accuracy of location and the majority of listings in St. Augustine Beach are not actually located there!

It is the only vacation rental on the entire beach which prevents beach goers from walking by either side of the house yet offers excellent access to the non driving beach.

This adorable duplex is also conveniently located with 5 restaurants, bars, trolley to downtown, surfboard, bicycle and kayak rentals and a pool all about a block from the house yet is very private and quiet. There are only a few OceanFront houses in this most highly sought part of St. Augustine beach and this is one of them! Only 10 minutes from the Historic District! It doesn't get any better than this. St. Augustine Beach is the most convenient and beautiful beach in the area.

Newly renovated and beautifully decorated, Surf and Sand OceanFront is a duplex that is rented only as only one large house. One side of the duplex is called the 'Surf' unit and the other side is called 'Sand', hence the name Surf and Sand OceanFront!

It has two HUGE oceanfront upper and lower decks, two living areas, two kitchens, two dining areas, 4 bedrooms.

The Panoramic Upper Deck and lower Dune Deck offer stunning views of the ocean and dunes and provide chaise lounges for sunbathing as well as table areas for outdoor socializing, games and cookouts!

The two living areas are beautifully decorated and include leather sofas, four chairs that convert to twin beds and 47 inch flat screen televisions. There are flat screen TVs in every bedroom, 6 TVs in all, with premium hd cable access.

The two designer kitchens have stainless steel appliances which include refrigerators, dishwashers, stoves and microwaves plus granite countertops.

The four bedrooms include two oceanfront Master bedrooms that sleep up to four in two king beds. The two queen bedrooms sleep up to 6 in 2 queen beds, and two lower trundles. There are two twin size convertible chairs in the Sand unit and two Ikea sleep chairs in the Surf unit for additional sleeping as well.

There are four bathrooms, two on the upper levels and two split bathrooms on the lower levels. The lower level facilities include sink, vanity and toilet rooms, plus two beachside tropical showers complete with changing rooms for maximum guest comfort.

Wi-Fi is available throughout the house (and on the decks) and 2 full size washers and dryers are also provided for our guests use.

The Beach can be accessed directly across the oceanfront dune however St. Augustine Beach asks that visitors use one of the numerous beach accesses. A flat, City managed beach access is just 15 yards away and leads directly to the pedestrians only beach. Our guests may choose either option. If opting to cross the dune guests are asked to utilize the path to minimize the environmental impact.

This premium location puts you in the HEART of everything St. Augustine Beach has to offer.

My family are North Florida natives that have owned and managed vacation rentals for over 10 years. My brother and I own this beautiful property which we have just remodeled for maximum luxury and comfort.

Perfect Beach Weekend

We shared this fantastic duplex with 3 other couples. The location is primo with walking distance to restaurants, bars, and beach rentals. The house is clean and very well equipped for a great time. Parking is tight but was fully accessible to 2 midsize SUVs and two large trucks. The owners were accommodating and organized as well as responsive. Don’t pass this place up!

Beautiful Sunrises, Moonrises, and beach views.

We had an awesome time at Surf and Sand. The view of the beach was incredible, and we enjoyed fresh breezes every day. The property is in a good location. It can be a little difficult getting into the parking area during the busiest portion of the day, because of the popularity of the Beachcomber restaurant and vehicle access to the beach. However, A Street has a light, making it easy to get onto A1A for access to everything.

The property itself was very nice. Good accommodations and well decorated. The property owners are very responsive. Since we were four adult couples, it was a little awkward accessing the deck, because it was only open from the beach side bedroom on both sides. This, of course, means walking through someone else's bedroom. It would be easier with family, but we made it work and we're all still friends.

The Historic District is not far from the property, but the traffic can be brutal. We recommend going around the south end of St. Augustine on 312 and then entering from Ponce de Leon Avenue. This is one way to avoid the drawbridge. One day we were caught for 45 minutes trying to get out of St. Augustine when the bridge went up twice.

If you plan to cook, be sure to bring anything that you require. The cookware and utensils are limited. If you are only doing small meals or snacks, you should be fine. I might recommend bringing a popcorn popper if you like popcorn as an evening snack. The restaurants all have huge portions of food. We had lots of leftovers and it was pretty easy to do two meals a day.

One of the points of entertainment is watching people who don't know how to drive on the beach bring their vehicles out. We saw at least three vehicles a day get stuck getting out on the beach and it was interesting to watch as the drivers tried to figure out what to do. We did morning and afternoon walks along the beach, flew kites, and braved the early April Atlantic a couple of times. There were a number of nice shells to bring home.

We enjoyed the trolley in St. Augustine. That gave us an idea of what was available to do, and we got good history on the city. We also recommend the Florida Water Tours dolphin watch cruise. We saw around forty! The Alligator Farm is another good attraction.

We recommend Surf and Sand and St. Augustine. It was just what we needed! By the way, the mattresses were the most comfortable we have ever found away from home!

Lovely House

A very nice house, close to everything. My family and I had a great time at this house.The deck is amazing at evenings, with a spectacular view of the moon shining through the ocean. We will definitely stay here again when we visit St. Augustine.

Great week with family!

The duplex worked well for us. Two adult sons with their wives and babies stayed on one side, while my husband and I stayed with our 5 and 7 year-old grandchildren on the other. The large decks on the first and second floors were ideal when extended family visited for dinner. The second floor deck has a beautiful view. Easy access to the beach was appreciated when toting sand toys and shade tents. The duplex is clean, nicely furnished and well equipped. Two kitchens helped and several good restaurants are a short walk away. We have already signed up for the week of July 4 next year.

Great location and beach. It worked out well for our group consisting of 5 adults and 4 kids.

We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful beach and location, location, location. It was the first ocean vacation experience for the four grandkids and they all loved it. The housing set up worked out well for us. There was a real value to the housing being directly on the beach. The convenience to great places to eat and get a drink within walking distance was also a plus. The common porches were great. We wish the bottom two living areas of the duplexes were connected with an internal door. Or as an alternative, a water proof ceiling over one of the decks would have been beneficial during rain events.

Surf and sand

We had a wonderful time in Saint Augustine. The house was lovely right on the beach. The house had everything we needed and close do all the restaurants. The beach accents in the house were beautiful . My favorite place was the top balcony overlooking the dunes and ocean. I love to watch the sunrises over the ocean. My son enjoyed surf fishing and the grandsons loved the beach and bogey boarding the waves.

The owners were helpful with any issue we had. We are looking forward to staying there again.
