Gorgeous place in the Grove!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this beautiful oasis on our New Year's Eve 2015 vacation. Our entire family had fun and this house is just made for a delicious stay. The whole family loved it. Our granddaughter enjoyed the pool and we had some nice swims in it. Rocky was great to work with and attentive to our needs. The house is so tastefully decorated to the point that my sister wanted to buy the beautiful artwork. We enjoyed the peacocks roaming the neighborhood (a first for me!) and the neighboring monkeys who were quite entertaining and were mercifully caged! We loved the peaceful surroundings and the rooms, so well appointed and with interesting art. We felt at home everyday and just wish we could have stayed a bit longer. We had enough privacy and space and even my granddaughter got her own bed in her parent's room. Of course the lack of cable was a challenge because my husband is an ardent fan of the Michigan teams had to watch the New Year's Eve game on a 13-inch computer screen! Though he could have gone to the sports bar where he actually got the newspapers every morning. We enjoyed being close to everything but yet feeling like we were in a private island. It was truly beautiful and delightful. Everything worked well. The bathrooms are very beautiful and modern and there's beauty everywhere your happen to look. I would recommend this place and stay there again anytime! ~~ C. Pelham (Washington, DC)

Peaceful Oasis in the Heart of Coconut Grove

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for my son's wedding in October and the whole family loved every minute of it. The house is close to everything via bike, Uber, or even by foot. The owner was great to work with. And the house: Beautiful. From the neighbor's pet monkeys who watched while I played my guitar by the pool, to the peacocks that roam the quiet neighborhood, to the lush tropical landscape that envelopes the home like a private jungle, and the immaculately kept and well-equipped modern interior, there simply aren't enough wonderful things to say about this place. The beds and furniture were exceptionally comfortable, the layout perfectly conducive to a relaxing family getaway where each adult couple could have their own private retreat while the large central table and lack of TV in the common area promoted togetherness. With the huge expanses of windows showcasing the tropical backyard, there was a beautiful view from every room. If I could rate the place ten stars, I would.

Gorgeous house/great location

  • 5 of 5

The house is everything the other reviewers say, and I'll add that the kitchen is unusually well equipped and fitted out. Great, quiet location and a beautiful house for up to three couples. The photos don't do it justice--the main living/dining area and the pool are both larger than they appear. The agent is great--supplied us with bikes and lots of helpful advice while remaining completely unobtrusive.

loads of charm - We picked a winner with

  • 5 of 5

The House is fantastic! spacious and modern as advertised but it also offers a high level of privacy and presents beautifully with a very inspiring collection of art and unique (comfortable) furniture. I believe some of the furnishings to be designed by the owner using local hard woods. We were a diverse group (My sisters Family and ours including teens and a toddler) and the property offered all that we needed for a home base and great visit to Miami. It is well located and close to a major transportation route but deep enough into "the grove" to be a private tropical oasis. It is within walking distance to a fabulous market where you can grab a steak and shrimp to throw on the Barbeque, Starbucks and the like, or enjoy happy hour and crab claws on Biscayne Bay. With only a short drive to 5 star dining or to your choice of beaches you cannot go wrong for a Miami location. The Owner and Rental agent were a pleasure to meet, and deal with and went beyond the call of duty to acommodate us, while never imposing at all during our time in the house.

We picked a winner!

Super chic/ super rental

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I have rented at least a dozen homes in the Miami area over the years, and this was one of our faves. Very elegant, very hip, great location (pleasant stroll to bayfront park and downtown CG.). The house is better looking than the pictures (we know this is every renter's anxiety), bedrooms are good sized (not huge)), sound system is awesome. We had guests ranging from 5 to 85 in age and all agreed.

Two downsides; not a great deal of outdoor space (beautifully landscaped and a very private, rainforest clearing feel to it, though, and a nice pool) and the stairway to the two upstairs bedrooms is a pretty narrow spiral, so probably not ideal for the infirm, free-ranging toddlers, or the seriously plus-sized.

The house is modern and striking, with the back wall all glass so you feel like you're outside pretty much all the time. The art collection is also impressive, and there are lots of little touches. Enjoy.
