Nice Little Getaway in a Beautiful Setting

  • 4 of 5

The weather wasn't the greatest during our visit, but we stayed nice and snug in this well-kept, clean cabin. Loved watching the butterflies on all of the pretty flowers surrounding the house!

Beautiful and Peaceful

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. It was simple but well-stocked and just the right amount of space for us to relax without feeling overwhelmed by rooms. Beautiful.

Beautiful little haven

  • 5 of 5

This adorable cabin was very clean and well stocked. It had a very "home-y" feel to it and was perfect for our group of 3. Beds were comfortable and there was shampoo/conditioner/soap available, as well as basic cooking necessities (maybe from other visitors?). There were also books, games and a welcome book with local information.

We particularly loved the sounds of the stream, cicadas and seeing all of the lightning bugs at night. The owners were very helpful and made check in/out easy as pie. We would definitely stay here again!

Simply Relaxing

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful cabin and location. Simple with everything you need and nothing you don't. Plenty of time to cook, read, play board games, hike and attempt to fish - unfortunately the fish were not willing to play along. Perfect family getaway to relax and recharge. Cabin is very well stocked and everything is superbly organized.

The cabin was the cutest thing, even down to the ladybugs. The location is top notch. Scenic drives!

There is plenty of easy hiking and fun things to explore all around with some of the best views of the Blue Ridge. Careful on the roads and make sure to load up on groceries because it's a journey into town. Lovely place, we will definitely be back!

Charming cabin

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at the Soaring Mountain Cabin. Everything was just perfect. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cooking pans, spices and condiments. The house was clean and the location was idyllic. A private seating by a babbling brook with a view of the valley was about as relaxing as one can get. Nice that there was wifi but no phone signal (a real get away). The 15 mile drive to Hot Springs was not an easy one, so we were glad that we brought our own food to cook rather than navigate the windy roads at night. Easy access to Max Patch and the AT.
