Great location and everything was easy and beautiful. Thank you.
While I'm going to say some negative things here don't think it was all bad, just letting people know what's up...Ben was mostly good at responding to inquiries the week befor the trip. We were told check in was after 3 but when we arrived after 3:30 the condo hadn't been cleaned yet. The cleaning girl came around 4 and the place was fine after that-well, fine with what could be cleaned-there are certainly some general repairs that should be made to make the place look nice again-the pictures are probably a couple years old. There were no paper towels or dish soap and there was a note not to use the dishwasher. Also the electric stove top didn't work. And the lighting in the bathroom was horrible-ladies, bring your own lighting for makeup needs. But other than that, it was a decent price in a great location. You can't get any better than staying right there in the heart of South Beach just across ocean drive from the beach. It was loud until 3am every night but that's to be expected when staying in that area-I wouldn't expect anyone to stay here or anywhere in the same general area if they were hoping to go to bed early or want some quiet. The rooftop pool and bar were nice. Just know they are in the top of the other building so you have to go down, out, over and up. And on that note- the elevator is super slow and sometimes didn't work so don't be in a hurry or have anything against stairs. We were supposed to have a 3rd person with us but she canceled last minute and probably a good thing because the sleeper sofa didn't seem to comfortable to sleep on - it was fine to sit on but I don't know how good it would have been to spend 3 or 4 nights in. Overall it was fine, affordable and close to what we wanted to do, just don't expect luxury.
I booked this condo on South Beach in early 2016 for our stay in December. I was impressed with the communication that I received regarding payment and everything I needed to know to check in and obtain the keys for the property. When we arrived, we were a little confused about where to go to obtain the keys even though we had an address (it would have been easier knowing that it was the Congress Hotel). All parking on South Beach is a nightmare, however the owner gave us a great recommendation. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we found that our room had not been cleaned from the previous guests. I reached out to the owner and shared our concern. We obviously weren't comfortable sleeping in a bed that didn't have clean sheets, therefore we needed to find a different place to stay. The owner did respond to us that something happen with the cleaning company and he immediately refunded our money. I had anticipated needing to "fight" for a refund and he made my life easy and was very apologetic. I spoke with the front desk at the Congress and when sharing with them what had happened I asked if this owner typically has these types of issues and they said NEVER. As far as the room goes, it would have been nice to stay based on what we saw. Great location, easy access to the hotel roof top pool. Thanks Benjamin for handling this mistake in the manner in which you did. I understand that things happen and appreciate you correcting it. We will book this again next time we head to South Beach.
The location is great. If you are a light sleeper then this isn't the place for you as it is near some bars. Checking in and out was simple. The bathroom did appear to have some mold on the ceiling and we brought our own towels which was good because there were maybe 2 towels in the apartment. Overall a good experience and Benjamin was very quick to answer any questions. He even recommended places to park tips of asking about the prices of items at local bars.
The room and location were both great ! If you want to experience south beach this is the place to do it . The whole experience was top notch. Benjamin provided all the info needed to navigate the night life in the area , as well as parking options . All emails were answered quickly . When I am in the south beach area again this would be my first choice! thanks Benjamin
This studio was perfect for our mini getaway. It was spacious, clean and comfortable with the beach right across the street. It was great to go downstairs and enjoy all of what south beach had to offer. The nightlife at your doorstep. Thank you Benjamin! I look forward to booking with you again.
The property is in a prime location right across from the beach, however it needs major upkeeping. There is a moldy smell coming from the vents. The room stood damp at all times and even my dry clothes felt wet, so good luck even trying to dry wet ones. There is mold on the bathroom ceiling and the shower curtains definitely need to be changed. The curtains for the apartment are see through at night so everyone can see what you're doing as they walk by. The floor in the kitchen was coming apart and the dishes were dirty and cloudy. The patio furniture is all rusted and the beach chairs were dirty / broken. There was only one open roll of toilet paper and when we asked for extra at the congress hotel they told us no because it's a private unit. Understandable this is a private unit, but it should have more than one roll of toilet paper. My only pro was the location.
