My Favorite Rental

We just enjoyed our 5th week+ visit to Boston and Olive's beautiful flat. Olive is wonderful, and this is by far my favorite rental not only in Boston, but anywhere!

The Lee St flat is perfect for our family of 5 (kids aged 12, 10 & 8). There is a gem of a backyard with a beautiful porch to enjoy morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. Jamaica Plain is a wonderful city neighborhood, quiet and safe with plenty of playgrounds and excellent restaurants just a few minutes walk away (This trip we loved the World Spice Cafe, Chilacates Mexican Street Food, and JP Seafood Cafe, but it's almost impossible to pick a bad place!)

The Green St. T-Station is very close by (5-7 minute walk), making this the perfect home base to enjoy all of Boston. Street parking is available, but you definitely won't need a car in Boston!

Clean, comfortable & close to everything

We enjoyed a week+ stay at the apartment with our 3 young children (6, 4 & 1 1/2). They especially liked the selection of toys and books, as well as the play structure and swing in the backyard. We also walked to a few nearby playgrounds. Some maintenance on the T track nearby was happening during part of our stay, so we actually did more driving. That being said, we were always able to find street parking near the apartment and get to most things within Boston within 30 minutes.

Perfect!

If you are looking for a clean and quiet place to stay when you visit Boston, this is the right place! The apartment is cozy and nothing is missing, we felt very comfortable. The place is a few minutes to the train station or to the bus. We used 7 day pass so we could jump in any public transportation, any time, in any directions. Communication with the owners was perfect, they are great people. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer..

Clean, well - equipped, cozy apartment in a great location.

Had a great week based in Jamaica Plain. We were 2 adults and 3 teenagers from the UK and appreciated the easy access to the 'T' and the great amenities/ eating places in walking distance, especially the Bella Luna restaurant at the Brewery. Olive responded quickly when we first arrived and had initially been given the wrong access code. The apartment was very clean with comfortable beds and air-conditioning in the bedrooms. Nice touches such as toiletries provided, hair-dryer, iron etc so no need to have to pack these things. Only slight thing was the apartment was darker than expected, maybe due to the trees outside. Overall value for money is very good.

Great Time in Jamaica Plain

We really enjoyed our time at the Jamaica Plain Gem! It was very easy to get to mass transit, and restaurants and grocery stores were nearby as well. It is a very quiet place with all the amenities a family would need. When we had questions Olive was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay!
