Located in Stinson Beach Village just steps to the beach and 2 blocks to town. House has Ocean views. Enter though a custom wood gate into the peaceful ambiance of this beautiful home. The house is surrounded by decks and a lovely landscaped yard with a sense of privacy. Newly upgraded with hardwood and Spanish-tile floors, high ceilings and skylights for a plethora of light. For your comfort, this home includes high-thread-count sheets, down bedding, Turkish cotton towels, a fully-equipped kitchen, a Netflix streaming TV, and a warm water outdoor shower. A wood burning fireplace warms this cozy house and the ocean view is from the upper deck. Dogs Allowed.
Stinson Beach has a quaint, small town feel, untouched by the hectic pace of life over the hill (on the San Francisco side). Every summer, we spent lots of time at the beach and found we didn't want to leave and go home. The scenery (beach, mountain, forest, lagoon) is truly spectacular here.
There are so many unique spaces to enjoy in this property. The back yard is sheltered so on windy days you can sit outside and enjoy the day. The front deck has shade of a majestic cypress tree on hot days. There are benches along the side deck for intimate conversation. The upstairs balcony is a favorite spot for views of the beach.
What a treat! Such a lovely place! Even though it was a rainy day, the fireplace and cozy home kept us happy. It was really nice and we loved being so close to town.
My husband & I and our 2 kids (ages 4 & 6) stayed here for a week in October. LOVED IT! What a sweet home this is. The garden and sun deck at the back of the house were beautiful and we enjoyed that space on most days. The house is really well appointed with everything you need (as advertised) and so perfectly located! It truly is just a few houses away from the beach... we walked barefoot with the kids to the beach from the house everyday. And being able to walk to town in minutes was also a real benefit. If you wanted to, you could literally park your car and not get back in it until you leave Stinson Beach.
We frequented the Park Side Cafe for breakfast- great strong coffee and special order donuts to die for! We also liked Breakers for breakfast- a very cozy, locals spot. Lunch Box is a great for lunches with delicious treats and fresh beverages like cucumber lemonade. We had dinner at the Sand Dollar which was pretty good too. We did cook several meals at home with groceries from the local market- they have just about anything you can think of.
There is a great little playground in town that my kids loved. There is also a library located a few minutes from the house on your way into town... we did not make it in there, but it looked like a good spot if you hit a rainy day or wanted a break from the sun with the kids.
Stinson Beach is a very special place. We hope to plan another family vacation here and would love to come back to this sweet house. I would definitely recommend this house to friends and family.
in short it was a great trip/place to stay.comfortable ,clean, stylish w all the amenities one could want or need and all within a stones throw of the beach!!
i am already looking for a window to visit again.
My family stayed over the winter holidays and even though it wasn't the typical beach season we loved being here during this quiet time of year. The beach was warm enough for long walks without being crowded, the weather was probably in the 50s or lows 60s, and everything was just really beautiful and quiet. The property itself is very comfortable and has a separate sleeping room upstairs with a bathroom. There are two double beds upstairs so one or two children can also sleep there, and they're not too close together so it doesn't feel cramped. The sleeping room upstairs has a big picture window with gorgeous mountain views. Everything is really nicely done and doesn't feel like some vacation rentals do, where the furniture and appliances end up there because they're outdated but still functional. This house seems newly decorated and has a modern kitchen and baths. The kitchen was fully appointed and we didn't need to bring anything except food. We didn't use the deck area because of the season but it is really beautiful with a succulent garden and outside shower. We will definitely return for another visit, next time for swimming and sunning!
We recently stayed at this cottage for a long weekend, and it was an ideal size for a couple. Very comfortable decor, lots of light, great backyard for catching some sun out of the wind, on one of the nicer streets in the Stinson Beach Calle/Patio area.
My family recently stayed here on a spur-of-the-moment weekend away. The house is in a great location (a short walk to town and a couple doors down from the beach), it was very comfortable, and suited our family of 4 perfectly. The living spaces are well considered, the furniture was up-to-date, and there are private decks for hanging out and/or storing beach gear. We will definitely come back.
