Out of this world views from the deck captivated my entire week long stay. I made new friends, clouds, fairies, a family of elks and a naughty squirrel.Location was awesome as it was close to ski resort town of Breckenridge/Frisco. Cottage was well secluded and offered all the amenities you can think of. Water was little scarce but we we were able to adapt to the situation quickly.
This property is amazing, the views are unbelievable & the layout of the property is fabulous! We had the most amazing weekend & can't wait for our next visit!!!!
You just have to see the view to believe it yourself! Nearly 270 degree view from huge deck. Valley in front of you, mountains on the sides. I could have just watched the scenery all day. After dawn and near dusk daily visits from family of deer. A fox also visited a few mornings. Go down to Montgomery Reservoir and check out snow melt feeding into Reservoir and take a look at the old ruins of Magnolia mine (processed gold ore). Easy to find...coming from Breckenridge little tricky when County Road pops up before you know it. Just a few minutes off Highway 9 and there you are. Close to Breck and Alma, plus all that Summit and Park County has to offer. Susan, you will definitely have a return visitor to this house!
If you like old gold mines and panning for gold this is the area to come to. There are exceptional hiking and 4-wheeling trails right from the property. We can arrange for ATV's to be delivered to the house or to the location of your choice. We also offer winter horseback riding.
