This gorgeous FULLY REMODELED Gulf-front condo is the ultimate vacation getaway. Located on Sanibel's desirable east end, this light and bright top floor corner unit features spectacular ocean views and a classic Florida cottage style sure to make you feel at home. A top-floor end unit is very special. In addition to the extra light it brings in, along with the tree top views, you also have the benefit of enjoying gentle breezes from both directions on the lanai as you watch pelicans dive and dolphins play in the surf. A walk down our quaint boardwalk leads you to a fabulous beach with multiple sandbars, a shelling and birding paradise.

The serenity of the beach is mirrored in the interior of our Sanibel cottage. Bead board paneling, soft tropical colors, and wood and iron accents lend a Pottery Barn flair to every room. The master bedroom overlooks the sparkling blue Gulf. The second bedroom and bathroom function as a guest suite with a door that can close off both rooms for additional privacy. The fully-equipped kitchen has granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and a new stove and Bosch dishwasher (2017). We also have Pottery Barn dishes, a Keurig K145 coffee maker, a drip coffee maker, a juicer for those delicious Florida oranges, and quality utensils and pots and pans. We are constantly updating to keep things fresh for our guests.

Beach chairs, large Tommy Bahama beach umbrellas, pool inflatables, sand toys, and other extras enable you to make the most of your visit. Our goal is to create a space where people love to make memories. Once you stay at Gulf Beach #207, we think you'll want to return year after year to enjoy everything our 'home away from home' has to offer.

About Owner/Manager

As a child, I started visiting Sanibel in 1966. It became a family tradition to vacation here every year since. After getting married, my wife and three kids would take our annual holiday vacation on Sanibel. Eventually, in 2012, one of our wishes came true. We were able to purchase the exact condo we wanted. As a college professor and elementary school teacher, we are always struck by what we learn about ourselves and the island during our visits. And most importantly, we are grateful for all of the family members made on the beaches, from shelling to hiking to building sand castles.

We prefer the tranquil east end with great shelling, walking on the beach to the lighthouse and fishing pier, bike riding on miles of scenic trails and fantastic fishing. We can never get enough of Sanibel! We think you will love it too!

Location! Location! Location!

We love the quiet east end. With both gulf and bay beaches to enjoy and the lighthouse nearby, there's lots to explore within walking distance. Enjoy a short hike to Pinnochio's where you can taste award-winning ice cream and visit the Lighthouse Cafe next door for its world-famous breakfast. Our condo is also right on the bike trail to easily explore other parts of the island.

We were drawn to the small size of the complex with its quiet pool and secluded beach. We also fell in love with the view and the light-filled, top floor corner unit. This unit, with its beautiful updates and perfect location, had everything we had hoped for and more.

What makes this condo unique

In addition to what can easily be seen in the photos, we also appreciated how the guest bedroom can be closed off from the living area so guests can have their own private suite with bathroom. This is especially nice when there are two couples or extending family vacationing together.

This beachfront property has a beautiful screened in lanai that overlooks the Gulf of Mexico. The view is fantastic. Walk down to the beach on the boardwalk and enjoy a day of building sand castles, shelling, swimming, reading, and walking the miles of sandy coastline. There is a storage closet filled with beach chairs, umbrellas, beach and pool toys, and other items to enhance your visit. Take a trip down the island at sunset to enjoy the gorgeous John "Ding" Darling Wildlife Sanctuary to see alligators, Roseate spoonbills and countless other species.

Many guests take advantage of the quaint paved bike paths traversing the island. Bike rentals can be delivered right to our unit. We have a covered bike rack for your convenience as well. Our unit is also close to the Sanibel Sea School, where you can drop off your kids for a day or a few hours while they learn about the amazing coastal ecosystems.

We take great pride in keeping our unit fresh and updated for your enjoyment. So many guests have written us notes and emails commenting on the amenities, location, and the beautiful "Pottery Barn" coastal cottage decor. Our goal is to have each guest create wonderful memories with friends and loved ones, at this place we call our Sanibel paradise.

Just Perfect

Wow, what an amazing time we had! This was our first visit to Sanibel and it is such a beautiful and mesmerizing place. And this apartment really gave us the most perfect base to spend our time on the island.

Firstly, the location is perfect. Just a few steps to the beach...and the pool...and back again. With kids this is perfect as sometime the beach can be a bit too much for a full day especially in the hot sun with little ones. And the views from the apartment are second to none.

As for the apartment itself, the decor is lovely, it is very well maintained and there are very good provisions. We found the beach storage cupboard really useful - there are plenty of beach chairs, kids beach toys etc. The kitchen is also well kitted out - all appliances are new and of a high standard. Also very useful having the washer/dryer.

I can't recommend this place enough and I hope we are able to return to Sanibel in the not too distant future. If we do - this condo will be top of my list for accomodation. Stunning!!

I have mixed feelings about this property. The unit itself is lovely. Bright and open with a very

‘ beachy’ feel to it. The view of the gulf is wonderful. However, the outside space of the complex left something to be desired. The pool area faces the garage and has a chain link fence around it. There are no tables anywhere and no other amenities outside other than 2 charcoal grills. This is the third property I’ve stayed in over the years in Sanibel and I’ve come to enjoy the outdoor spaces with lush foliage and great pool areas. Pool areas are important right now because if the run off from lake Okeechobee which is turning gulf water brown.

This unit was a little less money than the other places I’ve stayed but not sure it’s worth it.

Secluded, peaceful, quiet end corner unit.

A wonderful get away on the east end of Sanibel Island. The condo had a Pottery Barn feel. Equipped with everything you could possibly need for a beach trip. Jeff, the owner went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable in his place. The management company was friendly, efficient and accomadating throughout our stay. The condo has a gorgeous view from the screened lanai. Perfect for morning coffee and evening sunsets.

Like coming home

We love Gulf Beach, and this is our third time there. But this is our favorite unit we've stayed in, so much that we returned to this time. The owner is exceptionally nice and helpful too! We love the location, close to the lighthouse, Lighthouse Cafe and Pinocchio's. We will be back!
