About Tom Flottman

We're an Ohio couple who have two sons who chose to go to college in Colorado. We fell in love with the area and discovered Winter Park. We loved the laid-back, affordable atmosphere, and our ski-crazy kids think Winter Park is among the best ski mountains in the West. We love the Meadow Ridge Health Club, easy access, and Byer's and Indian Peak views.

Why Tom Flottman chose Fraser

Great location! Located on a high mesa, surrounded by mountains and close to everything- the slopes, the grocery, shops and restaurants.

What makes this condo unique

We believe The Pines is the nicest complex in the area. It offers better amenities, best location, and is kept in very nice condition by the association and owners.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Loved the condo and the spring skiing. The Pines is the nicest complex in Meadowridge, lots of room and the view is awesome. So convenient, close to everything...restaurants, shops the health club and the ski shuttle stops right at the condo complex.

Great place to stay

  • 5 of 5

We were a group of 6 and had plenty of room with ski gear. Place had everything we needed and felt very homey. Would definitely stay here again. Only trouble I had was the morning we were leaving I was trying to put the topper on our van and had to be careful of the moose eating leaves off the tree 20 feet away. He was not impressed with what I was trying to do.

Great Location, Solid Value!

  • 4 of 5

Had a really good stay during early Feb. 2017. Check in was easy, as was the directions to do so. As nav systems seem to struggle with the address, we were also provided turn by turn directions as well.

Property sets on the ridge up above the city of Fraser, in an area that appears to be mostly condo/apartments. This unit is a on the second floor. We traveled with our daughter and her husband for a quick ski get away. They stayed in the upstairs loft, which has its own master bath. They mentioned the bed was fairly firm, just as an fyi. We stayed in the master bedroom on the living level, also with a master bath. Bed was to our liking and didn't have a problem at all getting comfortable Plenty of room for our group. The third bedroom was set up as pictured with the bunk beds. This unit could easily handle 7-8 people.

The owner was good on his communication, and was very pet friendly, as our two small pups were allowed to stay.

While the kitchen appliances were a little older, they functioned as needed, as we cooked several meals during our stay. Plenty of tableware to take care of even a very large group. The cookware was adequate for anything we were wanting to make. I did alert the owner that a couple of the wine openers and the manual can opener were on their last legs of usefulness. Quickly received word back that new ones were on the way.

The clubhouse is a short walk, or even quicker drive around the corner and down the street. We were just able to use it once and it was appointed with two very nice large hot tubs along with a heated pool. Also had two racquet ball courts, as well as full workout and shower facilities. The attendant was very helpful and friendly to the point his service stood out in a good way.

Only reason didn't give a 5 star was the older kitchen didn't stand up to my personal rating system. But given the opportunity, would stay here again.

Owner's Response: Thanks for the nice review Jon. I did bring a new can opener and cork screw. You were correct about the can opener but there were two very nice cork screws in the far left drawer you may have missed. Now there are three 😃򐰮 And, the stove, microwave and frig are NEW! The frig is less that a year old and the stove was purchased the year prior! Go figure.

Great Ski condo!

  • 5 of 5

This place was great! Comfortable and spacious for two adults and four kids and pet-friendly to boot. Kitchen had all that we needed to prepare meals and bus stop to slopes was 500 feet away. Thought the place was reasonably priced for the market and we would definitely stay here again.
