Enjoy a Weekend or Weekly vacation home that is clean and comfortable with awesome red rock views all around you, especially of well known Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte from your front living room. We have a private, spacious and grassy back yard with a partially covered patio for relaxing with a margarita or beer. It looks & feels like paradise. Hopefully you'll spot some wildlife in the yard as we frequently have. A variety of fruit trees grow in the back yard. Enjoy the red rock views with a cup of espresso in the morning from the covered front porch too. There is a private upper deck for sunbathing, eating, or taking great pictures of your group with the view in the background. There's a garage and a carport and additional parking for everyone in your party. Also a great JW Home. Paper products, handsoap, spices provided.
If we are ever back to visit Sedona we would try to rent your home again. Everything was GREAT.
Words cannot describe how wonderful our week was in this lovely oasis. This lovely spacious comfortable home became our home for our week of exploring the amazing Sedona area, and we hated to leave! We had planned on eating out to try the different restaurants, but in the end the most tempting thing was to come home and grill and relax and enjoy the lovely and serene back patio, and enjoy drinks on the upper terrace with its spectacular views. Everything for one's comfort has been thought of, and whether you are two people, as we were, or a houseful ( which would be perfect) this amazing spot couldn't be better. Karen and John are wonderful hosts, and displayed kind hospitality that made this stay very special. We are so grateful we had the opportunity to stay here!
This house has at least three areas each of which would be enough on its own to consider renting the place. The living room with spectacular, picture perfect views of Oak Creek's Red Rocks, a deck with similar views also ideal for stargazing and the back yard with gorgeous trees and sunshine and a patio table for outdoor meals. We stayed two families (4 adults, 5 kids(10 to 16)) for TG weekend. The house had plenty of room for all of us. We had a third family as guest for dinner and fit everyone for that too. The neighborhood was quiet and isolated from the busy (even busier on TG!) commercial zones along 179. It was still close to everything including the grocery store. All rooms are very nice with tons of natural light. It has a very well equipped kitchen. Everything was very clean and in good working condition.
I live in Las Vegas and had family arriving from the east coast to help me bury my husband's ashes at our favorite spot in Sedona. Karen's house was the best fit since we had 7 adults...2 couples and 3 singles. (Two other couples stayed elsewhere.) All of the bed options gave us privacy, and the large well-equipped kitchen/dining room provided for the best way for all of us to enjoy breakfast and a barbeque one of the two nights we stayed. Although it was a sad occasion that brought us together, there was so much laughter coming from the house I hope the neighbors didn't complain! The views are fantastic and the neighborhood is very quiet. Karen's house is the best place to stay with a family/group while enjoying one of the most beautiful places on earth.
B-T-W...if you book a Pink Jeep Tour, ask for Duff as your guide. Once he knew we were all related (and are obviously adult), the jokes and laughter were nonstop for two hours! It made what could have been a sad day one that we will all remember with smiles. Also, check out Maria's for really good Mexican food (at the Chevron intersection). I've been going there for years and have never had a bad meal.
This home provided just what we needed for our stay in Sedona for our nephew's wedding. It's location is beautiful and close to town. It was very spacious as we had family from New Mexico and Ventura also staying there. The owner, Karen, was a pleasure to work with and very responsive to all our inquiries. My only regret was that we couldn't spend more time enjoying the upper deck views and the gorgeous backyard landscaping. I would not hesitate to book another stay (longer of course) at this home. Thank you Karen!!
Such a great experience all around. We would rent Karen's home again, no question. Well appointed, clean, lots of bedding and towels. So many places to enjoy the incredible views. Our kids kept disappearing to play on the rooftop patio. Loved the residential area and the easy walk to the friendly grocery. Great spot for getting to the many hiking options nearby. So sad to leave!
We stayed at this property with our family of five for spring break. It was truly amazing. The house is well appointed with plenty of space and an amazing roof top deck with views of the stars and red rocks. The kids did not want to leave. It is about 15-20 minutes outside of Sedona and for us it was perfect being outside the hustle and bustle of Sedona but close enough to enjoy it all. I would highly recommend it.
You will be only minutes from three golf courses, hiking, rock climbing, biking, shopping, spas, swimming, sightseeing, and Indian ruins. You can rent motorcycles, bikes, or go on jeep tours. Balloon rides over Sedona are available and will give you a different perspective of the beautiful red rock formations. The Grand Canyon is only a little over two hours away. Jerome, an interesting artist community nestled on the side of a mountain, is about an hour away. Wupatki Indian Ruins, Sunset Crater, Meteor Crater, the Painted Desert, and the Petrified Forest each make a nice day trip, as well as the Verde Valley Railway and Grand Canyon Railway rides. Take the kids to Out of Africa close by for a fun day with the wild animals. There is so much to do and see in the Sedona area you will need a week!
