This one story contemporary home is located in an exclusive private community, minutes to Bellevue and Seattle.
This is a renovated home in Bellevue and
is just minutes away from where you will find world class shopping, restaurants and bars. In addition, downtown Seattle is just 15 minutes away.
The home is perfect for the executive for short term rentals or a small family for a vacation. It has 2 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, an office, a large family room, living room and a formal dining area.
The large patio area includes a wood burning pizza oven and fireplace. This private location is a block from a private marina and clubhouse with pool.
The master bedroom has a large sitting area and a king size bed. The master bath is a walk in marble shower with spray jets. The guest bedroom is a queen size bed and a second bathroom is adjacent to it with a walk in shower. There is also a separate office space with desk that looks out onto the yard and greenhouse. The back deck and patio have a wood burning pizza oven and fireplace. The back yard is very private.
The house includes all linens, towels, kitchen supplies and bar ware. There is a separate laundry and bathroom off the kitchen. The kitchen offers a double oven, refrigerator, separate gas stove top, two dishwashers and a microwave. All plates, glassware, bar ware, pots, pans and silverware are included. There is a toaster oven and coffee pot.
The is house is fully equipped with a new flat screen TV, wireless internet, land line phone and cable.
The house was nice and a comfortable place to stay. The kitchen had anything you could possibly need to make you feel at home. The cable wasn't working when we tried to turn it on and they came out and got it taken care of right away. It is in a great area with easy access to stores and the freeways.
This is an excellent property with wonderfully attentive, accommodating owners. We would definitely recommend staying here!
We had a wonderful stay in Bellevue at this great house. The yard was perfect for our kids, and the living spaces are generously sized and well appointed. The house is well maintained, and Mary was wonderful in accommodating our requests. We also enjoyed strolling around the beautiful neighborhood, and the location is perfect for access to I90, Factoria Mall, downtown Bellevue, etc. We'd definitely stay here again!
My wife and I had looked forward to spending some extended time in the Seattle area where we could take advantage of some of the best seafood and produce in the country. I just needed a place to cook and call home for awhile, it was easy to call this house, "home". The kitchen provided plenty of room to work and prepare food (the double oven was a plus). When it was time to eat, we would head out to the grapevine covered patio in the very private backyard.
Seattle weather was perfect and the wonderfully landscaped yard left us feeling like we were all alone. The patio has a fireplace and a wood fired pizza oven, if you don't use this pizza oven at least once you are depriving yourself of a true culinary treat. I made 5 different pizzas while we were there. The accommodations inside were great with spacious rooms, a comfortable bed, and bathrooms that were easily large enough for 2 . Downtown Seattle was 10-15 minutes away if you are going to the market or sightseeing, and Bellevue also had plenty of great places to shop. Mary, the owner greeted us the first day and gave us a tour of the property, and contacted us during our stay to make sure everything was perfect. You should stay here if business or pleasure takes you to the Seattle area, a very private place in a great neighborhood. Quiet and relaxing....We will return.
Owners are great, neighbors are great and the house is great with all the amenities one needs. It has a great back yard and outdoor living area as well. I highly recommend it!
It’s not always easy to find a home on one floor with no stairs. My husband was 3-1/2 weeks out from hip surgery, so the one step up to enter was not a problem. My husband and I were the only occupants.
The place was totally spotless. Pictures and description were accurate. There was lovely artwork in all rooms and wonderful light from numerous skylights even on cloudy days (of which, Seattle has a few!). The master bedroom was great: comfortable bed, huge shower, and spacious built-in closet. The fenced backyard was oasis-like with a serene view through a large bedroom window to a very private, beautifully landscaped backyard. Outdoor table with seating and outdoor fireplace were as pictured. We didn’t use the formal living room and dining room (or the second bedroom), since we were so comfortable in the family room, and we had no guests. There is a three-car garage with opener.
This property was amazingly quiet considering its proximity to I-405. Honestly, we heard no traffic noise at all, and the neighborhood was one of high-end homes. It was a terrific location, very close to a mall (Old Navy, Target, Walmart, Nordstrom Rack, grocery (Safeway), and drug store (Rite Aid). It was less than a mile to Interstate 405, then I-90 into Seattle (total about 15 to 20 minutes). This is really in the center of the Seattle area (Tacoma to the south, Woodinville with the wine country to the north) and 20 minutes to SeaTac Airport.
We did one load of laundry, and the washer/dryer worked well. We especially appreciated the fast Wi-Fi (faster than at home!). The TV sound plays over the ceiling sound system in the kitchen/family room, and we enjoyed playing the Music Channels through it.
We took day trip via ferry from Seattle to Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, to see Butchart Gardens. Bellevue Botanical Gardens is a gem, also. Not to be missed is Seattle’s Pike Place Market, and Seattle has a killer symphony if you are lucky enough to be there when they are scheduled. I could go on and on.
Inquiry and booking was quick and easy. Mary, the owner, was nearby and checked that everything was okay after one day but never intruded. Our damage deposit was returned the day we got home (fastest ever)! I would recommend this home to anyone. I think it would be especially great for two couples looking for a week in the Seattle area, who could share the cost. We would like to return, as we weren’t able to see everything we wanted to. This prime location is 10 minutes from downtown Bellevue and 15-20 minutes from downtown Seattle and ideally located for numerous activities whether your visit is for business or leisure. We are also very close to transit services via Seattle Metro buses and adjacent to the bike trail (Lake Washington loop- 54 miles)
Enjoy easy access to theaters, restaurants, clubs and tourist attractions in both cities. The house is located in a private community with tennis, pool and clubhouse access and a private marina. Lake Washington is within walking distance.
