It was perfect in every way!

  • 5 of 5

The home is large enough for our growing family. The kitchen is so well equipped for entertaining and for gormet cooking. We were thrilled.

The view is beyond what we imagined in the pictures on line and not comparable with other places we have stayed.

The bonus was the game room. Our great surprise and a gathering place after hours.

We are looking forward to next summer for our extended stay!

The proximity to Lowel lake and Jamaica state park make this the perfect retreat for our gang.

Relaxing summer treat

  • 5 of 5

My family ( 3 adults kids , their spouses, 2 grandkids and my mother) rented this newly -built beautiful home for 4 days to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. The house was perfect and fit us all very comfortably. Extremely clean and cozy. The pictures don't really convey all of the space the house offers. There was plenty of space to relax, both in and out of the house. The kitchen had every convenience. The main floor has an oversized family-room which leads to the open kitchen. We were 8 people plus 2 toddlers, but there was plenty of space in the family-room so we could all sit and enjoy watching TV or reading. The half-bath on the main floor was also appreciated.

The downstairs game room has a pool table, ping-pong, air hockey and a second TV, along with 2 bedrooms and a very large bathroom. There were board games and videos to watch.

The upstairs has a large master bedroom, large bathroom with Jacuzzi . The other bedrooms was a large queen-size room and two smaller bedrooms. Another large bathroom is on this floor.

The wrap -around porch was lovely and the little kids loved having races while the adults watched them from one of many sitting areas. We enjoyed it from morning til night . During the morning, we had our coffee and breakfast out there enjoying the breath-taking views. At night we went back out on the deck to view the night sky- I haven't seen this many stars in a very long time, due to the light pollution of the city.

I spoke with the owners several times during the stay due to a slight problem with the wifi. They were extremely responsive and took care of the problem as fast as possible. The house surpassed our expectations- I would highly recommend this home.

Intimate Wedding Venue

  • 5 of 5

We rented this home for our small wedding. The location provided a beautiful view of the mountains. The front yard was able to accommodate the ceremony (arch and 30 seats), the reception with 6 tables, as well as a designated area for yard games. The pond and fountain provided a beautiful backdrop for photos. The house itself was well equipped and accommodated the family and friends who stayed at the home with us. The owners were great to work with, very responsive, and easy to contact. They permitted us various opportunities to visit the home so we could properly plan the layout for our event. They made sure the landscaping was perfect and the house was clean and well stocked. Our families loved the area and being able to venture out to the Vermont Country Store in Weston and shopping in Manchester Center. The only downside was the abundance of black flies and various insects in the yard, but that's to be expected with an outdoor wedding in late spring in Vermont. Overall, we absolutely recommend this property for people looking for a central location between various ski resorts, family gatherings, or a place to getaway.

Wonderful Vacation Home!!!!

  • 5 of 5

My family rented this home for two weeks, and everything was beyond our wildest expectations. The house is BEAUTIFUL (the pictures don't do it justice) with fantastic views from a great wrap-around deck that was perfect for entertaining. The large kitchen is modern, and well appointed. The game room/den downstairs was a favorite of the young folks, with Ping-Pong, pool, air hockey and darts. Cable TV and wifi throughout.

Six bedrooms were all well set up, and the master suite was especially nice, with a Jacuzzi tub and private balcony with a breathtaking view of Stratton mountain.

The location was convenient to a bunch of restaurants in Londonderry as well as the local super market (2 miles). It's central to all the local ski resorts (Magic Mountain, Stratton, Bromley and Okemo) and about six miles from Weston (Vermont Country Store, Weston Playhouse).

The owners, Eduardo and Diane, were great to deal with, very cooperative and welcoming (they even left us a welcome bottle of wine ---a nice touch.) We're hoping to come back again next year, and would absolutely recommend this rental to everyone else.

Great place to stay

  • 5 of 5

This is a great place to stay. The owners are easy to deal with and quick to answer any questions you may have. The house is very well taken care of and the beds are super comfortable. I loved reading on the little deck off the master bedroom. The basement has a game room that includes an air hockey table in addition to pool and ping pong which the teenagers loved. The kitchen is well equipped and there is also a nice gas grill. There is plenty of room and lots of seating. The owners have a book of fliers for lots of stuff to do in the area- we went tubing at Tweed River Tubing, visited a chocolate factory and the Ben and Jerry's factory, and went to the amusement park at Bromley to ride the alpine slide. The house is close to town and yet very private. There is a small diner in town that has good food and is very inexpensive. I would definitely rent this house again.

Another Wonderful Vacation in Vermont

  • 5 of 5

My family and I have rented this wonderful home in Vermont for the third time in two years and enjoyed a very memorable vacation there. This home is nestled and secluded in the mountains and the view is spectacular. Inside, the home is spacious yet cozy and comfortable. You get that "I could stay here forever feeling" from the time you enter until the time has come to depart. The home is well equipped inside and out from an easy to cook in kitchen, entertaining game room for ping-pong or pool ,well stocked books and games and even a game of outdoor badminton. Young and old have plenty to do without even leaving the house.

The area offers many attractions, but I was most content curling up with a good book in the spectacular home and enjoying the view and natue around me.

My family has been renting homes in Vermont for over 40 years and no home can compare to this one. I can not wait to return!
