This is a GORGEOUS 1930s NEW MEXICAN CASA in a WONDERFUL NEIGHBORHOOD!!! Read our reviews to see how our guests love it! Our per-person pricing allows for lower rates for smaller groups!

Casa Margarita is in a quiet, serene neighborhood. Yet, walk a few short blocks to RT. 66 some of Albuquerque’s best restaurants, shops, galleries, coffee, groceries, salons, theatre, UNM, and more.

- 3 or 4 bedroom: the one story 3-bdrm, 2 bath, main house is spacious and beautiful. The gorgeous detached Casita is optional add on @$49/nt or $299/wk

- refrigerated air conditioning (a real bonus in Albuquerque as most homes have Swamp Coolers)

- sink into the wonderful Jet tub

- large-screen HDTVs with DirecTV/DVR (record your favorite shows & games for viewing after a day of sightseeing)

- gourmet's kitchen with everything you need

- cozy private patio with full-sized gas BBQ grill

-Watch for 'Mo', our local roadrunner

Beautiful and spacious home

Carol's house was great for a large family group who came to visit Albuquerque. The house was clean and well-kept. The rooms had ample space and the casita was beautiful and provided the extra space needed for our group of 10. The house is located in a quiet yet central neighborhood that is close to great restaurants and shops and just a few minutes away from many attractions. Will definitely recommend for a group of 6+.

This is our third time at this home! This house is beautifully and comfortably furnished, well equipped, and in a great location. The outdoor patio is perfect for morning coffee and evening relaxation. We highly recommend this house, and can’t wait to come back next year!

Ideally situated

The house is in a quiet neighborhood. It is close to Oldtown and to the Hotel where our convention was being held. The kitchen is centrally located in the house, and the back yard is beautiful. Had a great time.

THIS IS YOUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME

We loved our stay at Carol's property. The house was impeccably clean, comfortable and warmly decorated. They had everything you can possibly need on your vacation. Our multi-generation family had plenty of room, and we felt like we were home away from home. We also loved the back bedroom because my 8 month old baby did not interrupt my mom and aunt early in the morning. This property is centrally located to most things Albuquerque has to offer. We particularly enjoyed getting our morning coffee at Michael Thomas Cafe, which is located within 15 min walk from the house. It was a pleasure to deal with Carol, and she was very helpful with all my inquiries. I would highly recommend this property for your stay in Albuquerque. We are planning on coming back next year and hopefully Carol's house will be available for us then.

Impeccable home in an historic locale

My siblings and I gathered for a family reunion with our New Mexican cousins. Rather than staying separately in hotel rooms we opted to share this home. What a great decision it was! Plenty of baths, rooms for each of us and a thoughtfully stocked kitchen made our stay homey and relaxing. We were only minutes from the airport and highways, yet you would never know from the peaceful neighborhood we stayed in. Historic Route 66 was a walk away with restaurants, shopping and so on. We loved staying at Casa Margarita and look forward to future stays.

To maintain the historical nature of our home in this historical neighborhood, we have kept the original 12-pane windows. We do not allow opening of these windows as they are very difficult to close and no longer have screens. Our very powerful air conditioning system keeps the home cool and comfortable in the summers.
