To maintain the historical nature of our home in this historical neighborhood, we have kept the original 12-pane windows. We do not allow opening of these windows as they are very difficult to close and no longer have screens. Our very powerful air conditioning system keeps the home cool and comfortable in the summers.

Great location- sinks a little too small in the bathrooms for shaving etc for my 6'4" men in my family. Minor. Carol was very accommodating!

Updated, clean, excellent location

  • 5 of 5

We love this neighborhood of ABQ.

The house appears to be small starter, but has been expanded and is deceptively elegant and spacious.

Owner's Response: I also think it is so fun that this home looks like a tiny little casita, but turns out to be a beautiful, renovated New Mexican Casa. I hope you'll stay with us again some time.

Comfortable house in a great location

  • 4 of 5

We had a very nice time in this house. My favorite thing is the location. It's on a residential street fairly close to UNM. It's easy to go anywhere from here. I enjoyed walking around the block and looking at the Sandia mountains and a very unusual, arty house nearby. Casa Margarita is cute, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen is good, and the living room and dining room are great places to hang out. I highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful, Immaculate, Comfortable Casita

  • 5 of 5

Casita Margarita could not be more charming and comfortable. It's beautifully, tastefully decorated and perfectly maintained. Kitchen and bathrooms appear to be recently, and exquisitely, renovated. In fact the entire house has a unique feeling of being a classic casita that's totally up to contemporary needs and standards. The kitchen has everything you need to make just about any kind of meal you want. The bedrooms are spacious, the beds are high end, there's a TV in the master bedroom and a large screen TV in the living room (a great place to hand out). Both TVs have cable. Internet was fast and easy to use. Importantly, the house is on an extremely safe and quiet block in a great neighborhood. It's just a short walk or quick drive to a commercial area with a ton of great restaurants... plus there's a Whole Foods and great shopping just minutes away. But the house itself is in a totally residential area. Nob Hill is THE PLACE to stay in Albuquerque. And to top it all off, the owner, Carol, was an absolute dream to work with. She was totally responsive to all questions I had up front. The communication was fast, easy and comprehensive. And when I needed to extend my stay, and she didn't have the availability I needed, she helped me research other options. Talk about going above and beyond! Bottom line -- I consider myself an extremely tough critic when it comes to accomoodations... and I can safely say that Casita Margarita is first class all the way.

Great home good location

  • 5 of 5

We were fortunate to get to stay at Casa Margarita during the Balloon Festival.

We were 7 adults, the house was great we each had our own space, and the living , dining area was a great place for us all to gather.

I loved that there was some basic cooking ingredients there, that we could use. Loved the fact that there was coffee left for us!!

Great location, we ate at the frontier restaurant, quite an experience, and Thai Vegan which was great,

Home is in a great location, quiet, nice neighborhood, but many places you can walk to.

Super house for a large number of people, hope to return some day.

Carol was easy to work with, if you're looking for a traditional New Mexican home in a great area with a number of people, Casa Margarita is the place for you.
