This is a GORGEOUS 1930s NEW MEXICAN CASA in a WONDERFUL NEIGHBORHOOD!!! Read our reviews to see how our guests love it! Our per-person pricing allows for lower rates for smaller groups!

Casa Margarita is in a quiet, serene neighborhood. Yet, walk a few short blocks to RT. 66 some of Albuquerque’s best restaurants, shops, galleries, coffee, groceries, salons, theatre, UNM, and more. Only 4-5 miles to Old Town and Downtown.

- 3 or 4 bedroom: the one story 3-bdrm, 2 bath, main house is spacious and beautiful. The gorgeous detached Casita is optional add on @$49/nt or $299/wk

- refrigerated air conditioning (a real bonus in Albuquerque as most homes have Swamp Coolers)

Notes:
To maintain the historical nature of our home in this historical neighborhood, we have kept the original 12-pane windows. We do not allow opening of these windows as they are very difficult to close and no longer have screens. Our very powerful air conditioning system keeps the home cool and comfortable in the summers.

Perfect for our needs

Carol was wonderful from the very beginning. She cheerful;ly worked with us as the duration and scope of our stay chained slightly, then even gave us access to the house hours early, which was a huge help. We were here to celebrate our son's graduation from UNM and Navy commissioning. Carol allowed us to hold a reception at the property, which was also very helpful. The house is charming and comfortable, with all of the amenities. The back yard and porches provide an excellent venue for entertaining. Thanks for making this week even more special!

Wonderful!

This is the second time we have stayed at this location in ABQ. The convenience to shops, restaurants and parks is wonderful. The house is super clean and tastefully decorated. Carol is also super accommodating for children. Would stay here over and over again.

Beautiful home, close to everything!

We did a family trip here (my family, my brother's family, and our parents) and it was perfect. The beds are comfortable, the amenities plentiful, a lovely courtyard patio and plenty of wifi for all of us techies. Starbucks is a pleasant walk away (as is a walgreens) and there's a WholeFoods nearby, too. For runners: lots of good neighborhood runs. We found great restaurants and lots to do essentially 10-15 minutes away. The owners are very responsive and the place is beautifully appointed.

Great Experience

This is the second time I've stayed at Casa Margarita -- and it's my first choice in Albuquerque. I can't imagine any place being more inviting, pleasant, clean, comfortable, and overall livable. Master bedroom is spacious and bed is great. Second and third bedrooms have plenty of room and are also comfortable. Bathrooms are newly renovated. Kitchen is great for cooking. All you need! Lovely dining room adjacent to big living room with large screen TV. Decor is tasteful. I sent photos back to friends in NY to make them jealous. Great, quiet neighborhood, near great restaurants -- walking distance. Whole Foods and Sprouts Market nearby. And the best thing about it is dealing with Carol, the owner. She is delightful, upbeat, helpful, and flexible. In my opinion, and I'm extremely picky, you can't do better.

Excellent experience

From location to owner access and communication this home provided an exceptional experience. We were staying for an extended period of time to celebrate the birth of a grandchild in Albuquerque. The home provided a perfect location to enjoy the city with easy access for our family to visit on a daily basis. We appreciated that the owner took pride in the home and was easily available for any questions that we had during our stay. They have taken the time to create clear, easy to follow directions for every aspect of the home's operation as well as information about the neighborhood and local restaurants and business establishments. Staying here was immediately comfortable and welcoming. We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay while in Albuquerque.
