Was an owner of a Contemporary art gallery for 8 years in Charleston so the house is full of contemporary art, enjoy!
Mike Elder purchased this bungalow in 2005

Quiet and safe charming neighborhood, close to water, downtown, Citadel, Hampton Park, I-26, and more!
The house is lovely and quaint! It was a pleasure to have a home away from home! Thank you for nice amenities! It is so close to a very beautiful park and close proximity to downtown Charleston! We would definitely love to stay again!
I stayed at Mike's place with my sister and brother-in-law. The house is fantastic, it's "home away from home". It is in close proximity to tourist attractions and downtown area. It's accommodating, kitchen is well stocked and the rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. Truly an awesome place to stay!!!
Mike's house was perfect for our family for Easter weekend. I love the neighborhood it is in. Close proximity to downtown, quiet, comfortable beds. The kitchen is well stocked. We just absolutely loved it and would not hesitate to book there again.
We stayed at Mike's property on Darlington for our stay during Charleston Food and Wine Festival and it was fantastic! It is a quick 5 minute uber ride from everywhere you want to be, and the house was very cozy and comfortable. If this house is s available do not pass it up! I only wish it was a little warmer so we could have enjoyed the patio and deck more. Overall this is a great place to stay.
Very comfortable home with everything we needed in a quiet neighborhood. We liked the artwork and the proximity to Charleston and surrounding areas. The burgers at the Rutledge Cab Co. were great. The owner quickly helped us resolve a little issue with the television, which we caused. Lots of other good restaurants like the Hominy Grill in close proximity.
This is a lovely well kept little cottage. The neighborhood is perfect for walking, with a dog or not, diverse and quiet. Felt like I was a regular in 2 days! While not in the middle of things, Charleston is so easy to get around and it was actually nicer to go back to the quiet little neighborhood after our day. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance and it was a quick getaway on day of departure since it is close to highway. Most important to me is cleanliness and this place is really clean, especially considering the age of the cottage. Very warm with attention to detail. Only negative is a dark kitchen - needs some brighter lights in there.
