The La Vista Blanc condos are located on the southeast edge of Mammoth near the Sherwin Mountains and next to the Mammoth Creek Park. The condo complex is well maintained and you can walk to restaurants, shopping, hiking and the shuttle which provides free rides to the ski resort and all of Mammoth in the winter. The spa and pool are located across the parking lot from this unit. The condo is a two story, three bedroom – two bath unit. It is located on the second story so there is no worrying about noisy neighbors. There is plenty of parking.
The condo is in good condition. All three bedrooms have king size beds with great mattresses (one bedroom has a Tempurpedic mattress) and plenty of closet space. The loft has a bunk bed and a double bed. There is also a video game console in the loft and a closet. There is a spacious living room with a L-shaped sofa and a leather chair for ample seating. There is a wall mounted flat screen LCD television (with cable service provided) and a DVD player in the living room and plenty of games to keep kids old and young occupied. There is also a wood burning fireplace with plenty of wood on the balcony. The kitchen has a brand new stainless stove, dishwasher and microwave. There is also a coffee maker and a dining table with seating for eight. There are two complete bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. There is wireless Internet provided. We also have an outside closet for your ski and snowboard storage and there are a couple of sleds and a snow shovel that you can use.
There are many great reasons to visit Mammoth. In winter there is skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, sledding, snow shoeing and snowmobiling at nearby Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort and June Mountain. In the summer there is hiking, mountain biking, fishing, golfing, boating and horseback riding in the area. The Mammoth Creek Park is next to the condo and it is a great place for the kids to play and to go for a walk. The condo has easy access to the local bike paths and the skate park is about a mile away. You can also take a short car trip to the Devil's Postpile National Monument. In all seasons you can walk to restaurants, the movies, coffee and Vons. Local favorite The Stove Restaurant is about a two minute walk from the condo.
The managers, Chris and Vicky, live right across from the condo and are friendly and helpful if you need anything. Mammoth Tax Cert #6243.

This condo is owned by three friends that love Mammoth and have come here for many years to go snowboarding and mountain biking. Two of us own ZJ Boarding House, a surf*skate*snowboard shop in Santa Monica. Two of us live in Malibu and one lives in Sunset Beach.

We purchased the condo to spend more time in Mammoth and share this amazing area with our family and friends. We love Mammoth in the winter and the summer and we've all spent a lot of time here since we were young.
Some of the unique benefits of staying at this condo include the how easy it is to walk to dinner, the movies, for a cup of coffee or the store. This is our favorite area in Mammoth as it is not as crowded. The park is right next door and your can walk down the creek or out towards the Sherwin's during the winter or the summer. Also, the condo is perfectly located for a quick run over to the spa.
It was just what we needed for our winter getaway. The place was big enough to accommodate all of us (5 adults, 4 kids), but also cozy for all our indoor activities. The kids loved the loft with bunk beds. Everyone got their own space to lounge around and rest after a day on the slopes. Everything was in working order. The owner was very responsive to our concerns.
We had 7 adults and enjoyed the condo very comfortably. The three bedrooms are all a nice size and comfortable. Common space was perfect for a group of about our size.
Location is great with easy and close access to town, the Village and all ski access points!

Had a great stay at this condo! We were 6 people, ranging in age from 7 to 75, and there was plenty of room in this comfortable condo. Once my mom had entered the condo (there is one flight of stairs before you enter) she didn't have to use any more stairs; the main floor bedroom and bathroom meant that everything she needed was on the same floor. We and our three kids had more than enough space on the second floor, with two bedrooms, a loft, and a bathroom. The living room was cozy and comfortable, and the kitchen well-equipped. We didn't use the pool or jacuzzi during our stay, but they were a short walk across a (small) parking lot. The manager's office was also directly across the parking lot, and the manager was both friendly and helpful during our stay.
Probably the best thing about this condo was the location! There is a lovely playground/park just a very short walk from the condo, which was great for our seven-year old. From the park, there is a trailhead for a nice hike that takes you past a stream. You can also easily walk into Mammoth Village from this same park, with shops and restaurants (we especially liked the Monkey Bar) to explore. Particularly convenient for us was the 24-hour Von's that was about a one-mile drive from the condo; this made meal-preparation easy at it was only a short distance to pick up additional supplies. Driving from the condo was easy, and there are lots of sites to see within an easy drive; while staying at the condo we visitted Hot Creek, Bodie, Mono Lake, Mammoth Adventure Center (with shuttle service to Devil's Postpile, and gondolas to the top of Mammoth Peak), Lake Mary, Twin Lakes; most were within a 20-minute drive, Bodie was the furthest away and took about an hour.
We truly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return.
I liked that it was close to town, but not in the hustle and bustle of things. We enjoyed the walking trails nearby. The unit was a great place to relax after a day of activities. The property manager might want to arrange for more frequent trash pick up for the dumpsters. We had a great stay and I can't wait to go again.

The Mammoth Lakes area is known for its winter activities of skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. The summer is amazing and offers hiking, golf, fishing, motorcycling and Devil's Postpile National Monument & Mammoth Hot Springs are nearby. The Park next to La Vista Blanc has a playground. Mammoth is great year around for shopping, restaurants and cinema.
