Cottage, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6-7)
Why Laura chose Lisdoonvarna
We built Creig Cottage in the year of 2000. It is located on my family farm which was great to use as a holiday home when visiting family.
What makes this Cottage unique
Creig Cottage is unique in its setting as it is off the main road with its own private entrance. Looking out of the windows from this cottage there is the most amazing view overlooking the Atlantic ocean, the Arran Islands, Cliffs of Moher and Galway Bay.

The view itself was worth the rent
My wife and I had no complaints whatsoever. There was a snafu with the check-in time (and also the GPS location) but the owner was doing the best that she could with a bad situation and made sure that we were inconvenienced as little as possible. We would definitely stay here again. It is a perfect spot from which to launch daytrips to the Aran Islands, the Burren or to the Cliffs of Moher. Nearby Doolin is a great spot for food / drink and local nightlife/music.
Stunning views all around!!! Spectacular!
Can’t wait to visit again!!
Great place for a relaxing holiday
This is a beautiful part of Ireland and staying at Creig Cottage really was the icing on the cake.
The views are spectacular and the property is lovely, a real homely feel to a holiday home, a very relaxing place to visit.
We will miss sitting watching the sun set over the islands for the next few days!!
Really nice place to visit.
Perfect getaway to see the beauty of Ireland. the neighboring towns and sights were great. Very relaxing stay and the house was equipped with everything a family might need.
Relaxing I Gods Splendor
The best part of this house was the fact that the need to leave it was never great. The comfort and majestic views were enough to satisfy. The home was well appointed and gave us more than we expected. Leaving was difficult
Beautiful and Comfortable!
2nd time visiting and found it as wonderful as the first. The location in the heart of the Burren cannot be beat.
In the immediate location there is pony trekking, mountain biking, kayaking, caving and walks/treks. If you go a little further afield you will find abseiling, surfing, dolphin watching, golfing, fishing and all sorts of activities to keep everyone entertained.
Specific things that we think are a must-do in this area are visiting the cliffs of moher and the burren to see the dolmen. We are located in the Burren National Park so you will get to see it in all of its beauty.
Doolin is known for it traditional music scene in Ireland and is definitely worth a night out to experience all that the pubs have to offer.
