Welcome to the Oso Lodge, located inside the gates of Yosemite National Park in the development of Yosemite West. Centrally located to all Yosemite has to offer. The Yosemite valley is only 20 minutes away, Glacier Point is 25 minutes away, Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoia Trees is 35 minutes from the property. For skiers, Badger Pass ski resort is located only 7 miles away. Our home has three bedrooms and a full loft, plus sleeping bunks for the kids. This mountain lodge home is open and bright with beautiful views into the unobstructed national forest. Wildlife viewing is very common. The lodge is equipped with sleeping quarters for 6-12 people, including:
3 Queen Beds
1 Sleeper sofa
2-unit bunks for the kids
2 trundle beds
We're a family that recently built a home in Yosemite.
The Owner purchased this house in 2009
Owning property in one of the most pristine and awe-inspiring areas on earth has always been our dream!

Our group of 12 people (6 adults and 6 kids) stayed for New Year's. The lodge was large enough for all of us without feeling cramped, but was small enough to feel cozy. One family's kids stayed upstairs in the loft area while their parent slept in a bedroom downstairs. The kitchen was very well equipped. I had a blast using the griddle to cook pancakes for breakfast. The location and proximity to the Valley was perfect. You are literally yards away from the park boundary. The kids sledded down the driveway after more snow fell. We would definitely rent Oso Lodge if we go with a big group to Yosemite. Thanks for the enjoyable stay!
Staying at the Oso Lodge was a very enjoyable experience. Plenty of room for our group of six adults and four kids. The kids loved the bunk beds in the closet and the upstairs loft area. The kitchen was large and well-appointed. The common areas and dining room were comfortable and spacious. Everything was clean. Location was perfect, almost equidistant from the valley and Glacier Point, both under 30 minutes away. Cell service was spotty and no cable/satellite TV, but that was fine as it forced the kids to improvise, read, play board games. I'd certainly stay here again and recommend to others.
Our extended family of 11 stayed for two nights between Christmas and New Year's 2015. It was one of the best times we've had as a family, and Oso Lodge was one of the reasons. Spacious, well-equipped, comfortable, ideal location. We couldn't have been happier. We loved being able to get to Badger's Pass in a matter of minutes, and the drive down into the valley was beautiful. Stay here. You'll be glad you did.
We stayed at Oso Lodge during Christmas. It was 7 adults and 3 kids. It was perfect for our family. The lodge is in a GREAT location to see the whole park, it is centrally located within the park. Everything was very well kept, very clean and comfortable. Barbara is a joy to work with and is easily reachable via phone if you need her. We will be back!
My husband and I stayed at Oso Lodge for 3 nights in September while we did some hiking in Yosemite. It was picture perfect, easy to find, clean, well equipped (even with homemade chocolate chip cookies in the fridge!)
I would highly recommend it.
The pictures do not lie. Everything was just perfect. We had 6 adults and 6 teens. Enough room for everyone. The deck was great to enjoy the evening and watching the bats and listening to the night sounds. We were hoping to see a bear but no such luck. Great place to relax after a long day hiking around Yosemite. Yes, there is no internet but if you are in a National Park....enjoy the views and the people you are with! Owner fabulous to work with
