My husband and I went here for a weekend away and to visit copper falls and it was perfect! We had beautiful views from our cabin, everything was very clean and the owners were super nice! The only complaint we had about the whole thing was that the beds were not very comfortable but that is it! Everything else worked out great! Definitely coming back again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at this wellrun facility. We liked the fact that it is family owned and operated. While we were not able to spend as much time there as we would have liked on this trip, we will return for another visit when we can.
We highly recommend this wonderful resort! What a nice, friendly family ran resort! Very clean and well kept! The owners couldn't have been more accommodating, friendly and helpful! The area is full of fun things to do for fun packed day trips. Perfect place for relaxing, unwinding and enjoying your home away from home!
The cabin was very welcoming--all of the wall hangings, pictures, wallpaper border---the owners did a fantastic job. The cabin was comfy cozy! It was also very clean, and we found that everything we needed to make and serve meals was there at our fingertips. We loved the screen porch--especially since it was muggy out and the mosquitos were looking for us. We had plenty of room for our clothing, towels, etc. and plenty of hot water. The location is fantastic--we went to the waterfalls, to Ashland, to Madeline Island. We also went to Ironwood, MI for Joe's pastys. Wildlife was great--an eagle flying over the lake, loons, ducks. We saw deer nearby and a bear crossing the highway. Robyn gave us brochures and information about sightseeing and was very friendly. She and her husband were friendly and considerate. If you want a nice "up north" vacation, check it out for yourself!
