+Each master bedroom had a private bathroom. Only the kids had to share bathroom.

+Nice game room in garage.

+A/C keep house very cool.

+Nice patio seating

+/-Beware the house sits on a corner lot

NEGATIVES

-Not an adequate amount of wash clothes. Had to purchase some.

-Clothes washer was EXTREMELY loud (sounded like an airplane landing). And didn’t always start once the button was pressed.

-Garbage disposal leaks and previous guest placed a wooden salad bowl to catch water which had a foul odor.

-Ice maker made ice but didn’t dispense ice.

-Freezer frosted over.

-Refrigerator was NOT cold AT ALL!!

-Pool lights didn’t work for night swimming. Maintenance came out but couldn’t fix it.

-Mattresses were noisy.

-we found 4 roaches during our stay.

- had to buy and replace 8 light bulbs .

-took 2 days for maintanace to come out and look at pool light and burnt out kitchen lights.

- walked across counter and table cause they had no ladder.

Maintanace claim they fixed pool light , but did not . Was rusted and filled with water .

- owner claim slow response cause of Holliday but we paid a holiday price . Unacceptable

-owner and maintanace company had a lot of excuses but very little action . Would not stay here again.

Owner's Response: It's not the owner's position to argue with any clients, but I want to list a couple of facts that upset me as well. The pool light was out on 24th and it's extremely hard to get the technician to come out. After the first visit, he had to go back and order the parts for replacement, but supplier is closed for holidays. The client failed to mention that he didn't even pay for pool/spa heating, yet we turned it on for them so at least they can use during the day (that's 199/wk). With or without light, without pool heating, he can't use the pool during the night anyway. He also threatened me if I don't give him a good compensation (hinted for $600), he will write bad comments to damage me. He claimed that he replaced 12 bulbs (becomes 8 in the review) and when I asked him for receipt so I can reimburse him, he said too many receipts and don't have time to dig it out. Even that, I refunded him $50 to compensate the cost for bulbs. If my house is that bad, why did my next group of clients call me to say “Thank You” before they checked out? The owner and client have to work together and be reasonable/considerable of each other. I am sorry that you don't like my house. From my end, you are not welcomed back to my house either. Nevertheless, the below actions will be taken: 1. Guarantee 2 towels per washroom and additional for pool. 2. Reported to property management company about the leaking for garbage disposal. 3. Will buy a new fridge soon. 4. Pool light was already fixed. 5. Ask property management to check the bulbs during each clean.

B.D. & family from Mn.

My husband & I decided to take our 4 daughters, 6 grandkids & 2boyfriends on a Fl. Vacation for our 30 th wedding anniversary. Two of my sisters came with two young nephews and a niece. We had plenty of room to sleep and eat meals together. The hot tub and swimming pool worked great!! The kids were in as soon as an adult was outside to watch them. Loved the location! We did Sea World and Busch Gardens for parks and Clearwater beach. We stayed at the house a couple days to use it to it's potential. Very comfortable.

Great place for large families

  • 5 of 5

Great, great, great!! Our mulitgenerational family of 20 (9 grand children under 6) is from all over the country and we stayed for a week in February. We were very pleased with the property. It is a large, well maintained home, with minimal wear and tear for a house that is contantly hosting large groups. The community itself is a gated community that seems to have been set up specfically for Disney travelers. The location is less that 5 miles from the Disney complex. The owner, Sophia, communciates throughout the process and encourages you to report any concerns. We took photos of minor items and sent them to her and there were no issues. We had plenty of room and enjoyed the week together in the home as much as the time in Disney itself. There is a large pool that we arranged to have heated. Unfortuantely, we forgot to arrange for the weather to cooperate and we actually hits the 30s one evening. We did manage to go in one cool night on general principles and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were tempted to whine to Sophia about the weather, but as she is from Canada and actually hit minus 11 the same week, we opted not to complain :). A family our size could not beat the price and instead of 4 or 5 decent hotel rooms which would have cost more, we were all together with plenty of elbow room and money to spare. Additionally, the large ktichen/eat in area allowed us to save more money on breakfasts and prepared lunches. One note - pay attention to the property and community rules about garbage disposal days, street parking (no issue, but which side of the road you park depends on the month), and the washing of towels at the end of your stay. Also, look for the community provided map that gives you a backroad path to Disney. We are looking forward to staying again!!

Wonderful stay at a very nice resort

  • 5 of 5

We had an epic opportunity to spend a week with all our children their spouses and our grandchildren, 13 in all, in the same house! The property was perfectly suited for our family. All four couples had their own master suite, the kids had a bunk room and the 1 year old had her own room to rest and refresh. Sophia was pleasant to work with and addressed and minor details promptly. The home was clean and well maintained. We would not hesitate to stay at one of her properties again. Thank you Sophia for a wonderful and memorable time :) (by the way, Sophia the First was our 3 year old granddaughters princess of choice :) )

Great house

  • 5 of 5

This house was great for our stay At disney. Very close to the parks. The large beds and en suite baths were a plus. We enjoyed the downstairs king bedroom and large bath while the rest of the family were upstairs. The large covered patio was very nice also. The neighborhood the house is located in is also very nice. All the homes are well cared for and the community is very safe. I have booked a smaller condo owned by this owner for the spring. Owner was very easy to communicate with.
