|Minimum Stay||4 - 7 nights|
If you’re looking for an extremely clean, comfortable, nicely furnished place for several nights or more that’s convenient to everything you want to see and do in Wine Country…
If you want to be in the Santa Rosa area without having to see the city right outside your window…
If you want to relax in a tasteful, peaceful environment within easy reach of Sonoma County's best hiking and biking trails...
You’ll find all the comforts of home—and then some—at the Santa Rosa Creekside Studio. The studio is located near major highways on the southeast side of Santa Rosa next to a creek that runs through the Bennett Valley area. The green canopy of trees and lush foliage outside your window will make you quickly forget you’re staying in the heart of Wine Country’s largest city!
Please note that the studio is a detached unit located adjacent to our home in a suburban neighborhood. Although you’ll have plenty of privacy while sitting in the hot tub or relaxing in the garden courtyard next to the unit, you will hear the sounds of civilization in the surrounding area. If you want a remote rural setting, this is not your best choice. But if you want a comfortable, elegant hideaway nearby everything you want to see and do, the Santa Rosa Creekside Studio can’t be beat!
The Santa Rosa Creekside Studio is literally minutes from dozens of Sonoma County’s finest wineries, the Russian River, redwood forest hiking trails, Sonoma State University and much more. Some of the nearby attractions (an hour or less) include San Francisco, Marin County, the Golden Gate Bridge, Bodega Bay and California’s breathtaking northern coastal areas, Sonoma, Napa, natural hot spring and mineral baths… the list goes on.
Perhaps the best description of our unit comes from satisfied guests... be sure to read the reviews.

We have worked together to create this vacation rental unit and put love into the project. We want you to enjoy your stay, and so we've tried to imagine what we would want if we were staying there.
If it's within reason and we can help, we'll do what we can. Our goal is to have you come back and refer your friends!
Tim Smith purchased this studio in 2010
This studio is on our residential property, so it wasn't a separate purchase (as the question kind of implies...) Our goal was to create a vacation rental that would give us enough extra income to do more vacationing ourselves! The space was completely refurbished in July, 2010.
Probably the best aspect of the Santa Rosa Creekside Studio is where it's located. You get a private, woodsy view on the banks of a creek that runs through Santa Rosa's Bennett Valley area. But you are just minutes from dozens of wineries, and an hour or less to the Pacific Coast, San Francisco, the Russian River, Napa and Sonoma, Redwood forests, you name it. We're only a couple minutes from two major highways, and you can get around Santa Rosa from here on foot, by bike and by car. Downtown Santa Rosa is just a 7-minute drive.
Very nice and quiet setting next to a tree-lined creek, few minutes to shopping. The best owners/landlords -- very accommodating and friendly. The apt is very clean, and during our one-month stay they cleaned the apt and resupplied with clean sheets and towels and cleaned the place. All appliances and tv and Internet worked well. Great price and great service --
This was our second stay at the Creekside Studio, and I'm sure, not the last! The studio apartment is private, comfortable, and has every convenience to make it feel like home! Fully stocked kitchen, including coffee beans and a grinder, plenty of spices and condiments, a gas stove, microwave, and fridge. Perfect for a couple or even a small family, as the sofa converts to a queen sleeper. The bed is very comfortable, with great linens and an assortment of pillow types. The location is very convenient to shops and restaurants, and a quick (and beautiful!) 30 minute drive to Sonoma and numerous wineries and tasting rooms. Highly recommended!
I spent 7 nights in the studio and was very comfortable. It is in a good neighborhood and safe location--great for walking. The studio is nicely appointed and even the kitchen had everything I needed. Even though the bedroom/living room is one large room, it felt like two due to great furniture placement. There is a large closet with dresser which provides a great place to store luggage, etc. The studio is behind the house, and backs to a tree-lined creek, which gives a great deal of privacy. My hosts, Tim and Barbara are not only very nice, but very responsive. I look forward to staying in this studio during future visits to Santa Rosa.
My husband and I stayed for a week in the Creekside Studio. It's absolutely perfect for two adults. Great location, great space, great owners. We loved it!
The studio apartment was absolutely perfect for my husband and I. It was private but super convenient to downtown and some wineries. The owners have stocked it with pretty much all the basic necessities (and more!). They checked in with us early in the trip making sure we had everything we needed and even suggested some fabulous restaurants to try. Overall, it was an excellent trip and we can't wait to come back to wine country and of course stay at the studio!
We spent one splendid week in this very clean and well appointed oversized studio apt. Tim and Barbara were so warm, gracious and welcoming. They kindly helped us with information on wineries and restaurants which they thought we might enjoy. In addition, the apt. had a collection of information on Santa Rosa and the surrounding area. We loved the location with a fine muni golf course nearby and restaurants/grocery stores within walking distance. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the lovely ambiance of the patio with its many pots of beautiful flowers and the native woods behind the property. It could not have been a better spot for two people to enjoy the beauty of the Napa Valley. We definitely plan to return.
Close proximity to Sonoma State University, live theater, Summer Repertory Theater, performing arts center, outdoor music, farmers markets, etc. The area is a biker's paradise, with numerous trails and parks within easy reach without driving there.
