Named after the Sea of Abaco Bight where we are located, Crawl Bight comprises 7 'sea to sea' acres just 100' south of Orchid Bay. Our property has high elevations which ensure a refreshing breeze and great view. Our 'off the grid', solar powered, loyalist cottage is located on the Sea of Abaco side, and over looks our dock, Marsh Harbour, all the way to Man O' War.
A short walk across the property and you arrive on the finest beach, period. Included in the rental are two glass-bottom kayaks for you to enjoy the beautiful view in the Sea of Abaco. We have a cute gazebo with a couple of hammocks and chairs for your use. You can stroll down the beach to Nippers, or snorkel on our beautiful reef and view many species of fish. Either way, the pink sand and clear tropical water is sure to soothe you.
If privacy, serenity and back to basics are what you desire in a vacation, you have come to the perfect place. Our windows have wood shutters with screens, and the only shower is outside. No noise, just nature.

My husband and I stayed at Crawl Bight for a week, and it was amazing. The house is perfect and really well thought out. The views are spectacular, the beach is secluded and gorgeous, and the house is true Bahamian.
We have been to Guana many times and always enjoyed it, but this was the best rental we've stayed at yet. We will definitely be back. Golf cart is a must and part of the fun. Very casual on the Island. A lot more fresh produce at the grocery store as compared to previous years. The water was beautiful and refreshing. We rented a boat from Troy at Dive Guana for a few days, highly recommend this. The reefs are outstanding. The ferry from Marsh Harbor makes it easy to get to the Island, and is always dependable. We snorkled, body surfed, boated, beach combed, kayaked, toured the island, relaxed and much much more........The perfect stay!!!
Excellent secluded location. A golf cart is a must to make it easy to get to town. The beach is magnificent. It does get warm during the summer but it's nice in the evenings.
Location and privacy were amazing. Lovely cottage. Use of kayaks was great (could have had wheels/dolly to transport easier to water.) Enjoyed running around in golf cart. Would love to go back again. Beaches quiet and natural. Groceries limited, and expensive (take what you can with you!) No need to dress fancy, very casual on the island. Weather a bit rough and cool for first few days, then perfect for remainder of stay.
It was every thing I had hoped for ....what a cute cottage, with jimmy buffet music continuously playing in the back ground in the perfect setting... water and lush native fauna backdrop .Very basic living no windows just shutters and fly screens ....an out door shower is an experience every one should have.
The cottages exterior paint color combination blue ,yellow and emerald green was memorizing it just made you feel alive
You will need to rent a golf cart but that's fun in itself as it will take 10 minutes to get to Nippers bar
With the tropics comes bugs so make sure to pick up repellant and the mosquito coils
You have the choice of the inside calm water or the open ocean only 150 yards away .
At Crawl Bight for a week, and we wish it could have been much longer. The house itself is cooled by ocean breezes, is wonderfully clean and completely private. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Abaco. You can snorkel directly off the dock in 3 to 8 feet of clear water seeing tropical fish, conches, snapper and grouper. A short walk to the beach side brings you to the most beautiful beach I have ever seen, and only once in a week did we see another person on it. Less than 75 yards off the beach was one of the most incredible reefs I have ever seen, with wonderful coral formations and tropical fish. The privacy is great, yet you are only a short boat/golf cart ride to the Guana Cay settlement, with good bars/restaurants and a small but well stocked grocery store. We will be back.
One of the rare cases when the place easily beats the expectations set by the marketing write up. The cottage is totally private, still feels brand new, clean as a whistle and in a perfect location. Set right on the Sea of Abaco, you enjoy afternoon sun and breezes on the patio. A short walk on the property takes you to the beach side on the Atlantic and a wonderful private beach, clear warm water and even a gazebo with two hammocks to sink into.
Great Guana Cay is itself an "odd place" with a couple of bars, a decent grocery store and a yesteryear feel. This cottage is a short ride in a golf cart, or a pleasant 15 minute run from "town". You can also walk the beach to get there for happy hour.
I would highly recommend this cottage for a couple or family of four that wants/needs to get away from the world and enjoy the best nature has to offer. The cottage is a haven, the deck and dock excellent, the beach amazing and the swimming first rate. In 6 days, my wife and I never even thought of taking a dive trip, or renting a boat or anything more adventurous than a beer at Nippers.
Make sure you get your groceries at Maxwell's in Marsh Harbour - amazing store with excellent fresh foods - we ate like royalty every night and day.
Thanks to Jeff and Jenks for such a great place.
Swim and snorkel off the beach and in the Sea of Abaco. Excellent reef and abundant marine life.
