Sea Place Villa is an oceanfront, 2nd floor, 2 bedroom condo directly on the beach. It can be rented using 1 bedroom or two bedrooms (see the rates page for the additional cost when rented as a 2 bedroom). The one bedroom rental provides use of the entire villa and beachfront master bedroom (excludes use of the 2nd bedroom which is not used). Sea Place is on the Dutch side of St. Maarten in a quiet residential neighborhood, 3 blocks from the center of town where you'll find the grocery store, drug store, bakery and restaurants.
The complex is oceanfront and located on the eastern side of Simpson Bay, near the bridge, and away from the Princess Juliana airport, which is a 7-minute drive. The airport code is SXM.
Private off-street parking is located at the front door of the property. Sea Place has direct access to the beach and shared pool. This is a no smoking unit.
Sea Place Villa has all the amenities of a luxury hotel--maid service (Mon - Fri), air conditioned, ceiling fans, a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, washer and dryer, safe in each BR, gas grill on patio, comfy king bed/king pillows, linens/towels, LCD TVs/DVD's in the bedroom and living room, portable beach chairs, beach umbrellas, cooler, ocean floats and free WiFi.

About Linda Tucker & Jamie Lear
We've been vacationing in St. Maarten (always on Simpson Bay) for 30+ years. Now that we're retired, it's great to be able to spend more time there. When the La Siesta Residence complex was built in 2006, we purchased Sea Place (2nd floor/2 BR which is unit B2). We loved it so much that when the A Building was completed in 2007, we purchased Sea Belle (ground floor/1 BR which is unit A3). Jamie likes the A3 unit for the convenience of walking directly out to the pool. My favorite is the B2 unit because I like the view from the 2nd floor balcony and I like that the master bedroom also has a great oceanfront view. Using the Internet made it very easy for us to share our vacation homes with other beach lovers. We now have many repeat guests, who like ourselves, have gotten hooked after one visit and keep coming back. Vacationing in St. Maarten is a pleasurable addiction that you just can't kick.

Nice Place with a Fantastic View
If we have the chance to return to St. Maarten, we will definitely prefer to stay here again. The place was very clean and was setup to have everything one could need during their stay. The balcony is a perfect place for a cup of coffee in the morning. We liked the view so much we usually tried to make it back in time to have a little happy hour while the sun set. Linda is organized and provided additional information about the current state of the island. While there was a lot of damage last September, there has also been a lot of progress already. The beaches are still gorgeous and water activities are available at some of them. There are plenty of restaurants open as well. We had a wonderful week there!
Great location with oceanfront view.
This condo was very clean and had everything we needed for a great stay. We tried a difference restaurant every night and all were great. I would highly recommend this condo and encourage a visit to this wonderful island.
Amazing location and view!
This was our second stay at this property and for good reason! The property is in great shape and, being situated right on the beach, the views from the large balcony are spectacular! It is within walking distance to many bars and restaurants so there is never a lack of choice as to where to go next. We came to celebrate a special birthday and Linda was a gem to deal with again and is very responsive. Would recommend this property to anyone!
Absolutely a wonderful place to stay.
This was our first time trying VRBO and I can't tell you what a wonderful experience it was for us. After Irma we didn't really know what to expect of our home away from home, but this place was beautiful. Had everything you needed to feel you were at home. Only thing we wish was different was the fact that we didn't stay there longer!!!
Spectacular Unit in Simpson Bay!
Just returned home from a 13 night stay at Sea Palace Villa. If you are a St. Maarten lover, like us, and your normal accommodations were destroyed by last fall's hurricanes, then Sea Palace is a great option. The unit is extremely clean, and is well cared for by two very special housekeepers that due an awesome job. The patio is just as the pictures show and is really the best feature. The kitchen is well appointed - the owners have gone above and beyond to make it very easy to use....just like home. Bedrooms are well sized, with comfortable bedding. Bathrooms are really only meant for one person at time, but who cares....it didn't hamper our stay, we weren't looking for a spa. The unit is centrally located in Simpson Bay, which makes it perfect for getting out to all of the great restaurants, beaches and shopping - it's worth pointing out that it is located on a mainly "local" residential street- meaning, fewer tourists (which are located at least several 100 yards away). Booking arrangements were easy!!! Linda was great to work with.
We look forward to returning again soon.
Beautiful condo, fast owner response, well appointed kitchen, close parking, sweet cleaning lady
We had a wonderful time in this condo. We absolutely loved sitting on the terrace, watching the amazing cruise ships go by, seeing the huge yachts and small sail boats in the gentle waters of the bay. The sound of the waves is so soothing. Beach is not wide but the sand is fine and water is so clear! There are plenty of supplies (towels, beach towels, toilet paper, paper towels, hair dryer, close-up mirrors in bathrooms, even sun tan lotion and bug repellent), the kitchen is well appointed with fridge, ice maker, oven (we didn't use), microwave, coffee pot, dishwasher, dishes, pots and pans (nice ones!), silverware, everything you could think of. Beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms were small but clean. They were really too small to share, though. You have to take turns (especially because there is no separation between shower and toilet). There are instructions, helpful tips, recommendations for dinners in the condo. Linda is very responsive to email requests for information. We bought bottled water but found the local water to be very drinkable too. We walked down to Mary's one day for breakfast but usually drove our rental car (get a small one - roads are narrow) around the island to various restaurants. Food on the island is amazing. Even the beef was tender and delicious. The fresh fruit and vegetables are delicious. This condo is located in a great, quiet neighborhood. When we first arrived we were a little concerned with the appearance of the houses and poverty in the area but the whole island is like this. Very poor and very rich living side by side. The people were pleasant and the security precautions in the condo were great (just in case). The location of the condo is nice - very drive-able to the whole island.. We would definitely recommend you stay there!!
