About the property

Cabin, 3 Bedrooms + Inflatable Queen Mattress, 3.5 Baths (Sleeps 8-10)

Welcome to our home away from home. Our cabin is centrally located between Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks, and only about a two-hour drive from the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Lake Powell is 112 miles away. This mountain home represents a rustic elegance not to be found anywhere else on the mountain. The home has a large, gourmet kitchen, several big screen TVs, spacious, covered decks, BBQ, and many other features to help make your stay one to remember. The community features paved streets and large 5 acre lots to ensure the quiet privacy you're looking for. Explore Dixie National Forest by hiking, biking or ATVing on the 500+ miles of marked trails. Or enjoy fishing on one of the many lakes and streams in the area. You can also take a day trip to one of the many National Parks or Monuments that Southern Utah has to offer. Come and experience all the wonders this area has to offer. We know you'll love it!

Why the Owner Chose Bryce Canyon National Park: : My wife and I chose this location because of the large lots (average size 5 acres), few people, paved streets, and close proximity to all our favorite outdoor activities.

The Unique Benefits at this Cabin: : Year Purchased: 2005 - My family enjoys escaping the busy life we have in the city by relaxing by the fire, riding ATVs, snowmobiling, fishing, roasting marshmallows, and hiking at nearby Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, and Cedar Breaks National Monument.

Guestbook comments from the owner

We just wanted you to know how much we appreciated staying in your beautiful, clean cabin. We spent 3 days at Bryce and the location was perfect. Zion was a little more difficult to get to, but that's the nature of the drive there! Your home had everything we needed to enjoy a restful stay. My daughters loved the chipmunks and we kept the hummingbirds fed. We've stayed at other homes in different states in the past, and this was the nicest. Perfect layout and wonderfully quiet at night.

High-end modern mountain home

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I stayed here in early April with three grandparents and three kids. There was plenty of room for all. We wanted to visit Bryce NP and Zion NP, and this location split the difference conveniently. To clarify, it is not in Alton: it's in a steep wooded area very close to the intersection of highways 89 and 14, with other homes nearby but not within sight. Stay here if you like luxury. Everything was much fancier than we would have expected for a rental.

Gorgeous mountain cabin!

  • 5 of 5

This is a beautiful and well-appointed property. While a little isolated (be prepared) the location was the perfect base for exploring both Zion and Bryce National Parks. Thanks to early April snow(!) we had the opportunity to make use of the fantastic fire pit and indoor fireplace. Not to mention the chef's kitchen and great views from every room. After running a 1/2 marathon and hiking this cabin was a great recovery retreat. Highly recommended!

Excellent stay in very well appointed and conveniently located cabin.

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was beautiful, clean, secluded, and conveniently located equidistant from Zion and Bryce. The kitchen was well stocked and the bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. The overall ambience was 5 star.

As a tip, remember to bring K cups for coffee and make a shopping list of any food items you may want for your stay. There are no real grocery stores within 30 minutes of the cabin. The cabin itself provided basic provisions like paper towels, firewood, TP, soap. Spices and condiments were there as well.

Overall, I would not hesitate to book this place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Amazing stay!

I planned my daughters first birthday here and the cabin plus location was amazing. Everything was clean and well maintained and the pictures do not show how beautiful this cabin actually is.

Beautiful Cabin

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for Christmas weekend, it snowed all weekend which provided a beautiful view from every room. A picturesque white Christmas. The cabin has been renovated from inside with great detailing. Our family had a great time here, would definitely come back. The owners were very helpful and the process was easy.

Convenient and cozy

  • 5 of 5

Conveniently located for day trips to Bryce Canyon and Zion national parks. We also made a trip to the Antelope Canyon in Page. The well-equipped and spacious kitchen makes up for the lack of grocery stores and restaurants nearby. The house is beautiful and well maintained. A great retreat home for families and groups of friends.
