The Owner purchased this condo in 2010
The Desert Princess offers the same amenities the other expensive desert communities offer without spending a fortune. A beautiful setting, with easy accessibility to airports and only 10 minutes from downtown Palm Springs.
If you enjoy walking it's the perfect spot to take a morning walk, jog or bike ride and watch the sun come up over the mountains. It's a spectacular sight, and can be enjoyed right on the patio with a warm cup of coffee and the morning paper. Strip mall with groceries, fast food and drugstore around the corner. Clubhouse facilities are available with large dining area and bar with a well known desert chef on staff. Golf course offers 3 nine hole courses with magnificently manicured fairways and greens.
Everything about the condo was lovely, the setting, the view, the accommodations. The condo itself felt just like being at home...only on vacation! It was clean and tidy. Modern without feeling too stuffy. Quiet and mornings and evenings on the balcony were perfect. Beds, pillows linens were hotel quality and very comfortable.
The Desert Princess Resort was a lovely setting, the course options were great for both beginners and more experienced golfers. The options for what to do in town are great and the owner provides brochures and information on what's happening around town.
Listing accurately describes what you'll find although I dare to say it's better than what you will expect.
This was the perfect holiday hideaway. We arrived on Christmas Eve and left on New Year's Eve. The condo is very conveniently located to the airport and highway, yet very serene and secluded. We loved sitting out on the patio sunning ourselves, watching the golfers on the lush course, gazing up at the mountains, eating grapefruits, tangerines, and oranges we picked off the trees nearby. The condo has a lot of amenities we haven't found in other vacation rentals, all first class. The beds are super comfy, the showers are great, the clothes washer was quiet, and everything was immaculate. We suggest you eat at Don & Sweet Sue's diner for breakfast or lunch, Acqua Pazza BIstro at The River shopping center in Rancho Mirage, and check out LG's on Wednesday for superior Cesear salad and half price bottles of wine. The shopping ranges from the premium outlet mall to the Gardens at Paseo (similar to Rodeo Drive). Some other fun adventures we enjoyed include the mountain tram ride and the windmill farm tour. And of course championship golf right there at Desert Princess, next door at the Doral, and several dozen other courses in the Valley!! The flatness of the streets & sidewalks makes for excellent walking, jogging and cycling. The owner is very good to work with. We can't wait to stay at this property again.
