I brought my family here for their first visit of San Francisco, and the apartment served us perfectly. It was clean and close to both Golden Gate Park and the Haight, both of which I wanted my family to see . It's also not far from Baker. Beach, which is beautiful. Our host had the kitchen well stocked with utensils, pots and pans, etc which also came in handy and we even found good parking across the street. All in all a Great experience--I highly recommend staying here.
This condo was perfect for my family. The Panhandle is an awesome area with tons of restaurants and shops within blocks of your condo. Traveling to downtown is very convenient with numerous bus lines going to different locations.
The condo was just how its described in the post. A great SF home, clean with many supplies and has a large kitchen if you would like to stay in and cook. Large bedroom and private bathroom.
I would recommend this condo to anyone coming to stay in SF and who wants to stay in one of the many awesome neighborhoods SF has to offer!
We had a great stay in this apartment in San Francisco. It trully felt like a home from home. We had been on the road for 2 weeks up in Oregon and North California and we took the opportunity to have a relaxing three days here. The apartment was really clean and it was easy to book and to get the key. Jayne, the owner (who lives upstairs), was really helpful and kind and let us stay a few more hours on our check out day as her next guests were not expected til the following day and we had a late flight. I can also recommend Cha Cha Cha in Haight Ashbury if you want great food in cool surroundings!
We stayed here with our two kids while visiting friends in San Francisco and had a great experience. The apartment was convenient to lots of great restaurants and bus to downtown, but it was also great to come home in the evening and visit the nearby playground. The apartment had everything we needed, including a washer/drier. We had a rental car and it was fairly easy to find on street parking in the neighborhood.
Central to everything in the city! The owners are super nice and attentive. I found the queen bed to be quite comfortable and my 10 year old nephew slept soundly on the queen pull-out-sofa in the living room. My sister joined us during the last week and the flat continued to feel spacious, it is well laid out. It has all the comforts of home. You will not find a better deal for the size and the location. Getting in and out of the parking spot was a bit tricky, but after a few times it was zip in and out. We would definitely come back. Thank you Jayne!
The description & pictures of this apartment are accurate. Each room, including the bathroom, is a good size, there's also the washer & dryer, and you basically have the comforts of home. Too bad me & my friends don't cook, but if you do, the kitchen has all that you need. Location is great. One block away is the Panhandle which will lead you right into Golden State Park. Two or 3 blocks away is Haight & Ashbury. No need to rent a car unless you plan to go outside of San Fran. One block away is bus 21 and the next block is bus 5. They will take you where you need or you can connect to another bus, tram or BART. There's also the cabs. Then there's Lucky's Supermarket two blocks up or even the corner stores, they are all in walking distance. We also found a really nice French restaurant called Bistro Central Parc within walking distance. I just wish we had more time in San Fran to explore.
Jayne, thank you so much for being so nice and so helpful. I will definitely recommend your apartment to anyone looking to stay in San Francisco.
