Lake Placid House Rental Photos and Description

House, 5 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, (Sleeps 12)

Experience the best of both worlds in the beautiful Adirondacks. This lovely home is located between Lake Placid and Mirror Lake in the Olympic Village of Lake Placid, NY. An easy walk to shops, fabulous restaurants, and the Palace movie theater, this getaway is nestled in a grove of pine and birch trees. A short stroll down the hill brings you to the Lake Placid Marina (0.3 mi.), where boat rentals are available to explore this 2,173 acre glacial lake. Dock at Whiteface landing, at the foot of the Olympic mountain, and enjoy swimming and a picnic. Also, a public boat ramp is nearby (0.2 mi.), as well as access to the Jackrabbit and Peninsula hiking trails. The Casa offers an open floor plan, and the kitchen is at the heart of the action with all the latest (Don't people always end up in the kitchen?) in amenities, and large windows so you can appreciate the wooded setting. There is a fireplace, and a lovely screened in porch.

Lake Placid Property

  • 4 of 5

My family and I rented this house for my IRONMAN race at Lake Placid. This house sits right off Main St. in the perfect location. The house is about 0.5 mile from the swim start and transition area, so you can easily walk to those locations. The house is beautiful with a nice outdoor sitting area that is screened in. We loved that the kitchen was fully stocked with any appliances needed. The house was tidy and clean upon our arrival with all towels/sheets/blankets ready to go. The only thing we needed to buy were washcloths, since none were provided at the residence. It was nice to get away from all the chaos and entertainment at night during race week, so we would definitely return and rent this house again!! I would recommend this to anyone looking to visit the area with a large group, or a group of triathletes with friends/family/support crews since there is more than enough room to hold 12 people.

Excellent House in a Great Location

  • 5 of 5

Our large group of friends and family spend 5 nights at this location and can speak very positively about it. The house is clean, well equipped and nicely located walking distance from Mirror Lake and downtown. We believe it is far nicer than the photos indicate.

We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Fantastic

  • 5 of 5

We recently stayed here for a bachelorette party this past weekend and could not have been happier. The owner was very accommodating and answered all questions and allowed us to check in early. The property manager was equally wonderful. He was friendly, and very helpful with telling us about the area. The home itself is beautiful!! I was pleasantly surprised, the photos do not do it justice. It was clean, organized and secluded. It was perfect for us. I will 100% be staying here again and would highly recommend this home.

Terrific stay

  • 5 of 5

Our group of skiers enjoyed a terrific stay in a well situated property. Quiet neighborhood and easy walk to town. The home was warm, had up-to-date finishes and a good layout for families. First class - we'll be looking to stay there again.

Beautiful!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I had the pleasure of staying a long weekend at Casa Cayuga this winter and loved the stay. The house was perfect for spending quality time together in the spacious family room area. Short walk to town and in a quiet street with little traffic. The pictures don't do the house justice! It's warm and cozy and well equipped with everything you would need in a ski/winter rental house. Neat, clean and well kept. Beautiful house, we would definitely stay again!
