'Leopold Cove' is a beautiful Oceanfront Home located on the Central Coast of California. It has fabulous ocean views and access to the water from a private stairway. The living area has large plate glass windows that feature 180 degree views of the Pacific Ocean. A comfortable platform style double size bed & a warm, cozy fireplace are also located in the living area so you can relax for hours, or even days, enjoying the beauty that surrounds you. There is a full kitchen & a separate bedroom with 2 twin beds. The property also has a picnic area & places to sit, perhaps with a good book & a glass of wine while you watch the sunset. If you are a nature lover, you will enjoy the otters, seals & birdlife that we are privileged to have so close to us. During the gray whale migration times, this is a perfect spot to view these magnificent creatures.
You will have access to many Central Coast attractions from Cambria. Cambria itself is a charming village that features galleries, shops, a playhouse, local music and a variety of dining options, as well as a beautiful environment. Big Sur and Hearst Castle are to the north and the Wine vineyards are to the East. There is a city airport and train station in San Luis Obispo.I hope you will visit soon.

This was truly a wonderful respite. The little house by the sea is magical. Every aspect of our stay here was perfect. Andrea & Tony, Long Beach Ca.
We couldn't have asked for a more amazing house to vacation in. It was wonderful falling asleep to the sound of the ocean--we cant't wait to come back. Kris & Brian
This was our first visit but certainly not the last. Leopold Cove is an architectual delight with hidden treasures in every room.We celebrated our 36th wedding anniversay here--this was the perfect place to reflect on our past & plan our future. Dennis & JoAnn, Ventura CA.
Another relaxing stay at Leopold Cove--we spent our 30th, 31st & now our 32nd anniversary here, just the way we like--enjoying the fireplace, watching movies, playing Scrabble, reading & gazing at the ocean. Andy & Debbie, Bakersfield CA.
Our first vist to this wonderful, magical place. We celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary here with a raging, glorious storm as the back drop. It is so peaceful here--counting the days until we can return. Chris & Michael, Oxnard CA.
This home is a piece of art, from the etchings on the beams to the wonderful tub/shower, the redwood chairs & table--it all adds to the ambience. We loved the beachcombing, walking the bluff trail to the North & watching all the wildlife.Leopold Cove is a beautiful spot to unwind from busy lives & recharge the spirit. John and Bonnie, Glendora CA.

This little home right on the beach is the perfect place to get away relax reconnect with your loved one. Very romantic. The house is such a work of art. Decorated for the beach theme. The expansive view of the large windows allows you to feel that you are one with the outdoors and although it is all glass in the living area and where the double bed is..which is very comfortable..u still have your privacy. The area is beautiful the street is quiet all you here are the waves morning to nite. You can spend hours watching the waves the sea otters or hours paying the tide pools that start at the end of your steps. You can cook gourmet r barbecue by the ocean. The house is fully equipped just bring your bathing suit . The tub is a work of art being able to shower with an ocean view. We are fifty sixty something and we're able to handle the two step ladder up into the bath/shower but you do need to be careful. We walked the parks along the beach that goes on for miles we walked and explored the quaint town of Cambria then jotted up to Moonstone beach and grill for a late lunch while we took a ride up to see the elephant seals the castle and ragged point. We live in the mountains here but we love the northern beaches..we will come back here again and again..
Of all of the places my husband and I have traveled, Leopold Cove is the one we always long to return to! The house itself is a piece of art, both inside and out! It incorporates nature, classic architecture, and the all glass walls facing a private beach-priceless! If you are looking for total relaxation and peace this is the place. The bed is comfortable and oceanfront-love listening to the waves and looking at the stars in bed! And taking a shower in an elevated area overlooking the ocean while watching whales and otters-priceless! I will retire after 39 years as an educator this year and have already booked Leopold Cove as the perfect place to wake up and not be at school for the first tine in my life. Debbie is great to work with as well!
Recently stayed at the house. Area is beautiful. House is interesting. Be aware, as none of the following is listed in the info about the house. Main bed is small for two people (a full bed, only) and we found it uncomfortable. It is high up and may require a step stool or stairs to climb up. They do keep a small set of stairs under the bed.The house is small and has narrow halls, and several sets of short stairs. The shower is a bit frightening, especially if you have a bad back, a bad leg, etc. There is a short set up straight stairs to climb up to the shower. It is dangerous going up, and more dangerous climbing straight down, with wet feet.
My husband and I had a wonderful time here...amazing views and so relaxing...this was our quiet time before the holidays and we loved it!!! The manager notified me that I had left my reading glasses and sent them to me...so gracious....thank you!
My husband and I rented Leopold Cove for 4 days. The place was really cozy and had everything we needed. We spent most of our time out on the deck watching the ocean and sea life. You fall asleep, and wake up to the sound of the ocean waves. You are literally steps from the ocean water. It is a quirky little place, but we loved it just the way it is. We are already planning on our next stay here.
We stayed the first week of May and from the living room we were able to see seals, doliphins, otters and Whales. The view was amazing, the house is quirky in a very good way. We are already talking about booking here again.
