Bali Kai

This was our second time at the Kona Bali Kai in this unit. This stay was wonderful again. The location and parking work really well for us. Holly is awesome to set up the reservation and the condo was spotless and ready for us just like last year. Love seeing the turtles, surfers and sunse9ts off the lani! The condo is equipped with everything we could possibly need. We will continue to book through Holly in the future ! Mahalo

Awesome beach front view

The view from the lanai is fantastic, hearing the waves crashing on shore all night was awesome. The interior of 214 is upgraded and well appointed, no disappointment there. The pool is area is small with more road noise than I would like.......but who comes to Hawaii to use the pool? Alii drive has a fair amount of traffic, however wth an ocean side condo you never hear it. Well worth the extra cost, I wouldn't book a unit on the island side of the street.

The shared BBQ area is very nice and the staff keeps the grills very clean and well maintained. We used them every night except one. I highly recommend getting fresh local fish from the KTA grocery store just a couple of miles away.

Holly was great to work with and I would book a unit through her again any time.

Paradise!

Aloha!!!! Hawaii would be paradise regardless of where we stayed, but this condo was icing on the cake.

It is perfectly situated, oceanfront with a huge lanai to take in the waves, dolphins, surfers, turtles and amazing sunsets.

We have been to Kona several times and never disappointed, but this unit was exceptional.

It was beautifully decorated, clean and very well equipped.

Seriously, all you need is a toothbrush!

Holly is so professional and accommodating.

Absolutely no complaints - except that we had to leave.

But we shall return!!

Great condo with wonderful views

Although the outside of the building is not very impressive; opening the door is a wonderful surprise. The condo is very nicely decorated and has a wonderful view. The owner was great to work with. This was a great place to start our honeymoon.

We were pleased in every way with our unit, everything was exactly as described and more. Recently upgraded throughout, well equipped and extremely clean. Great location to explore the island from. Watching the turtles and surfers while eating on the lanai was great. Holly was great to work with ! We plan to return next year.

Paradise Found

This is our favorite rental EVER! The view from the unit and the lanai was unbeatable! Turtles, surfers, para-sailing, and beautiful sunsets! The ocean was only about 30 feet away! (So the sound of the waves was loud…. I loved it but it did mean that you had to turn up the volume on the TV to compensate, minor issue.)

Although you are in a building with many condos, it feels very private on the lanai. I sat out there every morning as the sun came up.

The unit was a perfect size for the two of us. Although the bedroom was not a separate room, there was a beautiful set of pocket doors that could be pulled out to close it off from the living room in case one of us wanted to watch TV late in the evening. There was everything that we needed in the unit, including a great pair of binoculars which we used many times.

The location was also perfect for us. Downtown Kona, other attractions, and shopping were only a short drive away.

We would rent this unit again in a heartbeat if we ever get the chance to return to Hawaii.
