Why Owner chose Springdale
We are two professional people on an extended sabbatical. We own this beautiful and modern home in Zion National Park located in Town of Springdale, Utah a walking distance to the magnificent Zion National Park. We spend the winter weeks sailing and the spring-summer-fall season managing our vacation home in Springdale. We deal directly with our guest for reservations, key exchange, cleaning, maintenance, and anything between.
What makes this House unique
Our home is located at the mouth of Zion National Park. You will be able to enjoy an amazing variety of activities which range from hiking, biking, river tubing, canyoneering, rock climbing, horse riding to visiting art galleries, attending live theater productions or dining in fabulous restaurants. Zion is a park for all seasons. Summers are warm with low humidity. Autumn is magnificent with its colors. Winters are mild with average daytime temperatures in the 50s to 60s. No matter what the season is, the Zion National Park area is scenically beautiful. In the summertime, the red rock of the canyon walls almost seems to glow from the heat. In the wintertime, there seems to be crispness in the colors of the area that result in excellent photographs. Springdale has been named by Forbes Traveler among one of the 20 'prettiest towns' in the United States in 2008. It is also one of fastest growing tourist destinations in the United States, with over 3 million people visiting Zion National Park each year. In 2015, 3,662,220 people visited the park, Photographers flock to the area year round to capture the beauty of the area.

Great place for a large group to share
The same 5 couples had stayed here before, each time for a combination of visiting Zion Canyon and (some of us) running in the Zion ultramarathons which actually are run a just west of the park from the town of Virgin. We had a great time cooking and eating together in the open-plan kitchen and dining room while, with bedrooms spread over three floors and nearly as many bathrooms, everyone had privacy and independence when they wanted it. There is a good chance that we will be back!
This is a beautiful home that accommodates a large group easily. The downstairs includes a lovely great room with many windows, providing a great place to cook and relax after a fun day in the nearby Zion Park. At the end of the short street is the bus stop for the shuttle to the Park entrance, plus great stores, restaurants, and places to rent gear. A great place to stay in Springdale.
Our family stayed at this home for a "mini-reunion" from 1-4 April. The home is nice and spacious, but the proximity to Zion National Park is the very best feature. You can walk a minute to the Springdale Shuttle which then whisks you away directly to the park entrance. Very, very convenient. We did not have the chance to meet the home's owner, Barbara, during our stay, but she was extremely responsive in all communication during our trip planning and provided very helpful information. The home also had a very spacious yard which was great for relaxing and taking in the amazing views all around.
Great location for large families.
We stayed as family of 15 and enjoyed the stay. The location is the best. Weather permitting one can walk to Zion National Park (approx. 1.5 miles). There are quite a few options to dine within half a mile or should you choose to cook, Sol foods (grocery shop) is next door. Cooking utensils and cutlery were all good and clean. And Barbara is very responsive answering all our questions prior to our trip.
This was a perfect house for our family Thanksgiving. 11 family members from 4 different states came into town. Plenty of space, everything ready to go and way more supplies in the kitchen than expected. The oven fit our 25 lb turkey easily. Everything worked in the house. We used the very nice BBQ on the deck to heat and cook some of the food. Close to the Sol super market. 2 to 3 minute walk away. Easy to get to Zion National Park. Everyone was impressed that I found such a great place to stay for the TG Holiday. Not one complaint. Everything exceeded our expectations.
Great house in a perfect downtown location!
