We had a fantastic time staying at Jason's home as a group of 6 in February for a week. The master bedroom is extremely comfortable with a king bed and big screen TV. The guest bedroom upstairs has 2 twin beds. A third bedroom downstairs has a queen, making this home best for either 5 or 2 couples/shared beds. The location is fantastic. Easy drive from NYC up the Taconic and under 20 minutes easy drive to Rhinebeck. The food in this town is incredible!!!
The kitchen is well stocked and everything worked. The gas grill on the deck was also operational and convenient. The highlight of the home is definitely the back deck. Sunk in hot tub was clean, hot, well lit, and got plenty of use! There are ample chairs/table if the weather is warmer. The fire pit is also great, and we managed to use it despite the cold weather. The yard is large, private, and surrounded by deer fencing, which is good for the dog. The indoor fireplace was very cozy, and also got a lot of use during this winter week. There is a TV on the wall with built in netflix access. Seating in the living room isn't ideal for the whole group to cozy up long term, but we found our ways to get comfy and watch movies. The dining room is a great place for meals and games. There is laundry in the basement.
Jason was a very gracious host, easy to get in touch with, and provided all the information and supplies we needed. This is a great home for a getaway any season of the year and we would absolutely come back again!
We spent 3 days at Jason's property and absolutely loved it! Such a beautiful home and he's thought of everything. Attention to detail matters. The hot tub was just what we needed and relaxing by a fire was an ideal way to spend the evening. We highly recommend this vacation home. We'll definitely be back. Soon! Thank you so much, Jason.
We stayed for a long snowy weekend and had a great time. Jason was very responsive and helpful, and the home was cozy and well-appointed. It's close to many attractions in the area but still feels secluded. The enormous fenced in back yard is great for dogs and having the fireplace was fantastic on such cold days. Really enjoyed the place.
We could not have asked for a better stay in this beautiful home! So cozy and charming! The location was gorgeous and easy to get to too, although we didn't explore the area at all. The home was too amazing to ever leave! The kitchen is divine and well-stocked with tools, spices and various treats. Very spacious dining room! The master bedroom is enormous! The entire house comfortably slept 6 adults. Cozy den with a great fire place! Spectacular outdoor firepit and hot tub! Everything was perfect, and I would definitely stay here again. Jason was an amazing host and always available to answer any questions we had from start to finish. A++
Loved the location for exploring Dutchess county - Hyde Park, FDR, Vanderbilt, CIA, Innisfree gardens, Rhinebeck, etc. The house is a charming and cozy older woodsy home on a large private property. Jason, the owner, was very responsive to a couple of items and he is easy to contact and deal with. We were two couples and the layout worked well for us. The outside patio and fire pit make wonderful places to enjoy the outdoors.
We stayed with some friends at the property and had an excellent weekend! The property had a great backyard (which our dog loved) and patio and we had a great time eating outside, enjoying the firepit, and chatting in the living room. Would stay there again!
In the Hamlet of Clinton and located within 15 minutes from the Villages of Rhinebeck and Millbrook. Located 3 miles from The Omega Institute. Kayaking, swimming, museums, historic sites and great hiking all short distance away.
