COMMENTS FROM GUEST BOOK:

My wife and I came to this quiet and beautiful cottage very weary and in need of rest. We enjoyed leisurely days of reading, cooking, walking, going into Holland etc. The view from our deck was worth the entire trip. We both believe in a personal God who loves and cares for each of us. We believe that every good and perfect gift comes from him. We have been absolutely blessed by his gift of creation, solitude, time together, and this delightful place of refreshment. Our accommodations were perfect. Thanks and blessings.

My family and I came to this very nice cottage. We loved how nice and quiet it was. We loved how nice the beach access was. The sand was so nice and fine. Thank you for the very comfortable and nice it was to stay here.

Thank you I loved the quiet time. I will always come here again.

Thank you for a lovely week. We could not have had a better time anywhere! The cottage and view was wonderful. We will never forget it. We hope to be here someday soon. The hike and beach access were a true treat! We wish you all much success in the future with your rental.

Why Sunita chose Michigan

Newly remodeled in 2013 with new hardwood floors. Brand new tv with internet access. Blue ray player.

You cannot find a better setting in Holland and near by area on Lake Michigan for this price. View of water from everyone in the cottage. It gives you an absolute private setting with everything so near by. Quick walk to access water and State park one house away. Beautiful hiking trails right from the property. Too many things to list.

What makes this cottage unique

Private setting, views, access to everything near by.

We had a wonderful season that started with a couple celebrating their honeymoon and ended with a couple being engaged and a few anniversary celebrations in between.

Guestbook comments from the owner

This cottage was perfect for us. We had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation. The kids loved the beach and the "magic tree house". Thanks Sunita for being so kind and helpful.

Amazing location!

  • 5 of 5

This cottage was a wonderful find! Not only do you have direct access via a short flight of stairs to Holland State beach, but you have a great view of the lake from the deck. We were there during the very busy 4th of July week but never had to worry about traffic or parking at the beach as we simply walked to the water whenever we wanted to. We also loved the many dirt trails that meander around the area as part of the Mt Pisgah trail system. The general store is close by as well. The cottage itself has super comfortable beds in both rooms, along with wonderful deck loungers that we found perfect for optimal sunset viewing. We used the grill many times and loved eating outside on the deck. Sunita was very helpful in suggesting things to do like where to go blueberry picking, when to hit the downtown area for entertainment and which trails to take for running and walking. This was the perfect cottage for a family of four.

Great cottage

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in a group of 4 people for 3 nights. The size of the cottage is perfect for 4 people. The views from the cottage are amazing!!! You can see the lake almost from everywhere from the house. The beach is close enough to walk and there are grocery store close by driving to buy food. The cottage had everything that we needed in a quiet and calm place. I recommend and we would stay again.

Perfect place for a long weekend getaway

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights after a crazy, hectic, and very long winter. We came looking to unwind and relax, and this place was perfect for what we were looking for. The view from the deck is amazing. We got to watch the sun set over the lake every night, and it's a great space to hang out. The cottage is also very secluded with a scenic half mile drive in. There are hiking trails all around, and the beach is just down the steps off the deck. The cottage itself is the perfect size for 2-4 people. If you plan on doing any cooking, the kitchen is small, but has everything you need.

Overall, I would highly recommend this place. We would definitely stay here again.

Pleasant vacation cottage tucked away in a state park looking out to the west over Lake Michigan. Great place for bird watching and relaxing in a forested setting. Would stay there again.
