Brian and Linda live in North Carolina on the lovely Lake Norman. We love the lake area and have raised our 2 children to love the water. We purchased this house and loving restored it from the brink of destruction trying to preserve the historical character of this house as much as possible.
Linda and Brian Deblasio purchased this house in 2010
We fell in love with Beaufort South Carolina and the low country with its rich historical essence and hope you will too. There are over 25 restaurants in walking distance of our home . .
This is a quaint historical town and there is so much to do and see. This area is so rich in history and there is a lot to explore. Just hop on your bike and enjoy restaurants, shopping and you can even go to the beach.
We stayed at this lovely home for our annual Girls' Getaway, and were so pleased! Beautiful, comfortable, convenient, and cozy are just some of this home's attributes. I would highly recommend this home!
A charming cottage right in the heart of the historic district, this was the perfect location for our annual cousins trip to Beaufort! Close to the water and the restaurants and shops on Bay Street, we enjoyed it all. The three bedrooms were so cute and comfortable and the rest of the house retained its historic charm but provided all the modern conveniences. We especially enjoyed hanging out on the front porch. I can truly recommend this cottage to Beaufort visitors.
The property was in a great location, walking distance to waterfront, restaurants, etc. The house is cozy yet spacious and beautifully restored. Our stay was too short.. We would love to return and see more of the area.
With all the comforts of home this property was a beautiful and quiet oasis. A very comfortable and peaceful home. We came to watch our son graduate from the marine corps. The beach was only a short drive, and amazing. I only regret not having more time there. To have been my first time renting a home, I dont know if I can go back to a hotel. Thank you.
We so much enjoyed staying here. It was perfect for our April visit as it is so conveniently located. We walked to town and back on an average of 3 times a day. Linus loved the fenced in back yard and we enjoyed the screened in porch. We will certainly return. Thank you.
Such an adorable quaint place, i was pleasantly surprised at how spacious it was. We rented this for our daughters graduation from Marine Boot camp, it was only about 10 mins from Parris Island. There was 7 of us and we had plenty of room. Beaufort is such a neat town wish we had more time to spend in the downtown area. Our teenagers were able to walk downtown for ice cream while the adults sat on the nice screened in porch and enjoyed a glass of wine. Would love to come back to Beaufort again and we would defiantly stay here!
