Lahaina Condo Rental Photos and Description

This unit offers a fabulous view of the ocean and the resident sea turtles in the reef below. The oceanfront sun deck is the ideal place to lounge with a book and a tropical drink, or relax and watch the sunset. November-March visitors often spy migrating humpback whales as they swim through the channel.

Your vacation home is decorated with classic island furnishings and was renovated in June 2010. The kitchen is fully equipped for making coffee or a three course meal. Dine inside or on the lanai while listening to island music. After dinner grab a book off the shelf and relax under the rustling palm trees. Games have also been provided for your entertainment. At days end, fall asleep to the whisper of the trade winds and gentle sound of the waves meeting the shore. Prior to arrival your vacation home will be cleaned & sanitized by Maui Clean Space and readied for your stay.

Hale Ono Loa is conveniently located close to great restaurants and activities in Lahaina. West Maui is friendly and less crowded that other areas of the island. The local Times Market and Safeway are just a short trip down the road. There is usually a nice trade wind and we love looking out across the channel to the islands of Lanai and Molokai.

We never tire of watching the turtles swim in the reef or simply watching the ocean activity from the lanai or sundeck. We have developed many favorites in our visits to Maui. Favorite restaurants, favorite snorkeling spots, favorite beaches, favorite coffeehouse, etc. We share all of our favorites as well as options for island adventures in our Guestbook. We have also provided guide books and other island information so you can make the most of your visit to paradise. As is the case with many beachside properties, Hale Ono Loa does not have air conditioning.

Stunning view!!

I love this area of Maui! Yes, a car is important, but it is worth it to take the short drive to my favourite snorkel beach about 7 minutes north - Kapalua Bay...(get there early, as parking is limited). Hale Ono Loa # 307 was well appointed with everything needed for my 2 week stay. The ocean view couldn't be better, nor could falling asleep to the sounds of the waves. Remember there is clear information that this unit/building DOES NOT have a/c, and depending on the summer day, it can be quite warm. With the windows open and fans going, there is usually enough circulation to stay comfortable. The pool and bbq area are great options for staying cool and eating in. This is a quiet location with easy access to shopping and the entertainment of Lahaina. I appreciated the communication of the owners and them allowing me to check out a bit later for my late flight. This was a great place for me to have some significantly needed R&R.

Brilliant

Third time for a 4 week stay.

Jaw dropping view of the sea from the lanai.Any closer and you would be on the ocean.The sounds of the tide and the surf have to be heard to be believed , rocks you to sleep at night .Total immersion in the Maui/Aloha vibe.Condo has all you need .Complex quiet and friendly . Janice terrific.

We will be back.

Owners' attention to detail is remarkable

We stayed at Hale Ona Loa # 307 for 4 nights. From initial contact with owners till we actually traveled I had emailed several times with questions and I always got prompt satisfactory responses.

This condo is well stocked with anything you may look for and more. In fact it did not feel like a rental condo and we were perfectly at home. Examples of owners’ attention to details include 2 pairs of binoculars, sewing kit, laundry soap, extra towels, travel guides, beach toys, beach chairs and a cooler plus ice packs in the freezer.

It is suitable for family and has adequate space for up to 4 people.

View from lanai is great and sounds of the ocean are very relaxing at all times of the day and night. Lack of air conditioning was not at all an issue for us as sea breeze was enough to keep us comfortable.

Laundry is just a few doors down and was definitely helpful.

Within walking distance from Hale Ona Loa there is a Farmers' Market and a supermarket which is convenient.

We would definitely love to return and highly recommend this condo to others.

Best condo EVER!

We have visited Maui before but have never stayed in a condo. We were pleasantly surprised to find a clean and well decorated place with such a spectacular view, for such an affordable price. Cozy, quite, and a great place for a romantic getaway. Wonderful scenery, we have never seen so many sea turtles. Definitely will be returning soon!

Wonderful Home Away from Home

We have visited Maui many times and this has been our favourite condo rental thus far. The owners were quick to respond to any questions we had when booking, as well as during our stay. Upon arrival, we were very impressed with the cleanliness of the condo and how well stocked the condo was. The trade winds and ceiling fans kept the condo cool so there was no need for an air conditioner in this unit. The spacious and well-furnished lanai had an amazing ocean view to see the beautiful sunsets, whales and sea turtles too. We appreciated that this condo building and surrounding area was quiet. This condo was in walking distance to restaurants, grocery store and the farmer's market. Many great beaches were just minutes away. We would definitely recommend this unit to family and friends.

Hale Ono Loa is a low-rise, recently renovated, 4 story complex, with a large pool & grass area for playing. Ocean entry via the sea steps allows access to snorkeling in the reefs offshore and the neighboring properties have beach entry. Amenities also include a shared BBQ, coin-op laundry room, elevator access and free parking. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and filled with the spirit of aloha. Come enjoy a unique island experience. Unit 307 was renovated in June 2010. Building does not have AC.
