This brick house was built in the early 1900's in the Village of Northport. It has been beautifully restored. The Millbrook runs through the property in the private, peaceful secluded backyard garden. One block from the marina and Haserot Park. Its location is ideal sitting directly between Eat Spot(delicious fresh food) and Kampgrounds Koffee(the old Willowbrook)
Within 15 minutes drive is the Leelanau Sands Casino and many wineries. There are free community concerts in the park all summer long one block away.

I am from Northport but have lived in California for several decades. I hope to retire in Nortport within 10 years. I love the community and love to go back to see family and friends and spend time on Lake Michigan. This home was once owned by my mother.
Owner purchased this House in 2000
Why Owner chose Leelanau
I bought this home because my brother told me to.
What makes this House unique

Wonderful location. Warm and welcoming. Barb's bakery is amazing.
We will definitely be back. .
Great get away house near the bay
Recently there for 4 nights the first part of May. So still a little cool at that time.
Wonderful location in town within walking distance to grocery and little bakery for morning sweets. Short walk to marina to watch the bay as it would change with clouds.
House is adorable and well kept. Very cozy. It was perfect for a "let's forget life for a while" house!
Beach house is a darling 1940ish home very near every thing in Northport. Loved the setting.
The cottage has been updated yet has kept its old fashioned integrity. Enough towels; new appliances; very clean. My only complaint is the downstairs bedroom mattress and bed was uncomfortable. My husband is disabled and he had to sleep downstairs. The bed was not great! The upstairs beds were very comfortable. All in all we had great weather- pleasant lodging and a lot of fun. Thank you!
Darling cottage; Vintage Decor!
Super clean, very comfortable! Kitchen well updated, Jenn Air and Bosch dishwasher. Did not try the fireplace, but would be great in the winter. Back yard table is in an incredibly private setting by the creek, and is especially wonderful for morning coffee. Convenient! Within 20 steps of a real cup of coffee, 20 steps of great pizza or breakfast, and 30 steps of a cinnamon twist! Supersensitive guests may be annoyed by noise/music of wedding receptions on Saturday night but we found it charming -- plus, this week everybody left all at once on a limo bus! I would call this property best suited for a party of 2-4. GREAT STAY for us, we'll be back.
nice stream and flowers
I stayed at this house with my family we were in town for a wedding. The cottage is right down town. About 2 minute walk from everything, grocery, coffee shop, restaurant, bar, marina, library. Northport is really a cute little town. The house was comfortable with a little stream running through the back yard and bbq area. I will stay there again. It was really cute and convenient.
