Absolutely stunning lakefront property with long sweeping lawn to the waters edge where you can sun or swim on the brand new dock. Take advantage of the swim platform and moor your boat on the complimentary mooring. This house was built for relaxing with panoramic views of the lake from nearly every room in the house. Enjoy floor to ceiling windows from the living room, kickback and relax on the massive 40X20 foot deck with sweeping views of the lake and hills beyond. Belgrade Lakes Village and amenities is a short walk (1/8 mile) or a quick trip by boat down the lake. On cool evenings enjoy a fire in the outdoor fireplace or head to the gameroom for a game of ping pong, sing Karioke, or a fun boardgame. If you are looking to get away from it all in truly breathtaking fashion, this home is for you. Rental includes dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer, indoor/outdoor stereo, grille, 60' Widescreen Bose HiDef Surround Sound Theater, 200+ movie library, and high speed WiFi.

Large Parking Area/ Owners Note: The house has ample parking for up to eight automobiles as well as boat or snowmobile trailers. We would like to stress that the house is built for relaxing, entertaining and having a great time but it is not a party house. It is geared for family friendly getaways where guests will appreciate and care for the house as much as we do.

Wonderful Maine home in a gorgeous lake setting

  • 5 of 5

Renting this wonderful home on Long Pond was our first experience using the Home-away web-site and I think we have been spoiled for life! We rented in mid-April for a Spring visit to our Colby student. Unfortunately, Maine weather in mid-April is not reliably conducive to outdoor activities. Our four day stay covered all three seasons except summer so we are not able to comment on the use of the outdoor facilities other than the deck and grill. The lake (still mostly frozen) and the views were very beautiful even from the inside.

The host/homeowner, Dave, was wonderful. He was very responsive to all questions. He was great to work with and we are already signed up to rent again! We found the home to be easy to find via the great directions/landmark tips we received. Coming down the drive and viewing the house for the first time was just like coming home, if you are lucky enough to have a home on a beautiful lake in Maine! Everything is fresh, extremely clean, well appointed, and cheery. The furnishings, bedding, linens are all top quality/new. We loved preparing our meals in the kitchen that had everything you would ever need. The family room/dining area were great to be able to eat, take in the views, hang-out and check email or play games. The upstairs game room was great for late night video games, movies, and ping-pong. The beds were all super comfortable and the bathrooms/showers left nothing to be desired. Everything has been thought of to make your visit an experience you will want to repeat. We highly recommend this wonderful property!!

The Maine Getaway

  • 5 of 5

We have rented this lake house for the last two summers. Great location, very private and secluded despite being close to corner store and a few excellent restaurants. Dock and float provide safe swimming area for kids. Beautiful deck for family gatherings and meals. Sun sets right in front of you every night. Very peacefu and relaxing. Home is clean and the two bathrooms and full laundry facilities come in very handy with children. Lake is clean and great for swimming and our kayaks.

The Maine Getaway

  • 5 of 5

We have rented this home on Long Pond for the last two summers. The location is fantastic, with privacy from rows of trees on both sides of the house. Great sunsets sitting on the deck, safe swimming for the kids. The rooms are big enough and the two full baths and laundry facilities make life very easy. Paddle down the lake in ten minutes for ice cream on the water. Very quiet and peaceful.

Highly recommend this camp\lake house

  • 5 of 5

Fantastic location and accommodations. We have stayed at this camp for the last 3 years and absolutely love it. The camp itself has everything anyone could ever need\want - plenty of space, great bedrooms, awesome family\rec room upstairs with ping pong, large screen tv, etc. There is a general store in walking distance to get any amenities you need. At night, the large firepit is always a big hit with the kids for smores and adults for late night setting. The waterfront offers a great swim platform that the kids love to use. It is a very peaceful setting as the pictures show - plenty of loons, ducks and more. If you have a family - especially kids, you should rent this camp as it is well worth the money.

More than expected...

  • 5 of 5

After reading the other reviews and looking at the pictures on the website I was sure I knew what to expect, I was wrong. We found our way there easily and at first sight of the house the kids couldn’t wait to jump out of the car and run down to the water. The dock and float provided hours of fun for swimming and fishing. The house had all we could want and more, the game room upstairs was a hit with a Ping-Pong table, karaoke machine, big screen TV (with TiVo!) and surround sound. As nice as the inside was we spent most of the time outside on the deck, a perfect place for morning coffee and evening cocktails and the outdoor speakers helped set the mood throughout the day. The general store just a few minutes’ walk away was extremely convenient, it had most everything you would need and the kids enjoyed walking down there for their afternoon ice cream.

It was nice to see they read the reviews and addressed any concerns; we found the kitchen to be fully equipped and not lacking. We did do most of our cooking on the grill on the deck, it’d be a shame to spend time inside if you don’t have to.

The only drawback was that somehow time seemed to just evaporate and it was time to go before we knew it…………..

Out of the city and into serenity

  • 5 of 5

From the moment we drove up the long driveway we left all our work and worries behind.

The well manicured lawn welcomed us into this spacious vacation home.

Once we dropped our bags we were struck in awe of the beautiful views looking out the large windows of the dining and living rooms.

With a family of 5 each of us had ample space.

Everything in this house was well maintained and clean. We were so happy we really felt at home there.

We spent most of vacation week on the expansive deck and out on the dock on the water.

Listening to the wildlife brought us the relaxation we were looking for.

We spent ample hours out on the lake with our canoe and the one provided for us, fishing and just coasting along the quiet lake.

We actually caught a couple nice size lake trout that we cooked up on the outdoor grill.

That evening as we watched the sunset over the lake, enjoying our freshly caught fish on the deck we could not have asked for a better place to stay.

Our evenings were spent sitting out on the deck playing guitar and singing songs along with the loons and other wild life.

The girls were never bored between watching the provided videos on the huge TV and playing table tennis in the game room or swimming in the lake to swim raft and back.

Everything was provide for us and the store was only minutes away for anything else we needed.

We slept so comfortable in the crisp Maine air waking up every morning in the luxurious bedrooms looking out of the large bright windows.

As we packed up to head home we started planning our next visit.

Maybe next year we'll stay two weeks!
