Magical and perfect

  • 5 of 5

This wonderful cabin is the highlight of our annual trip to Sedona every year. My wife and I have stayed here 7 times already, most recently in November of 2017. It's just the perfect place to be able to relax, unwind and unplug. Yes, cell service is very spotty here and there is no cable / satellite TV, but we consider those to be benefits. You can always catch up on communication when you go to Sedona or Flagstaff, but when in the cabin it's nice to not have to worry about checking your phone every 10 minutes. We enjoyed reading, working a puzzle, sitting by the fire, and watching the beautiful wildlife outside. If you are in the mood for a movie, there's a TV and DVD player with a large selection of DVDs.

We always like to say it feels like 3 vacations in one when we stay at the cabin, because it's located in Oak Creek Canyon, which is roughly equal distance between Sedona and Flagstaff, and has a different feel from both. Some days we went south into Sedona and hiked in the red rocks, where it's typically much warmer than it is in Oak Creek. Or, we would head north to Flagstaff and hike, do some shopping, grab some coffee, or eat. Later in the day it's always wonderful to come back to the cabin. It just feels like a different world - it's so quiet out and as it gets dark the air has a chill to it among the large pines. We would start a fire, put on a CD, and just relax. Later we like to go in the hot tub, which always felt fantastic after some of the longer hikes we did.

There's something about the energy to this place that's hard to explain. It's an amazing cabin that I would highly recommend to anyone. We are already planning our vacation here for next year.

Lovely cabin!

  • 5 of 5

Great getaway place. The cabin is charming and in fantastic condition. All the items we needed were there. No WIFI or TV but we made do. Verizon phone worked for calls and texts. It's about 30 minutes from Flagstaff and 25 minutes (depending on traffic) going back into Sedona.

Paradise in Oak Creek

  • 5 of 5

Stayed for a week at this little cabin in the woods and although our expectations were through the roof, they were exceeded. The cabin is so cozy, and the fireplace was excellent on those 45 degree mornings. The hot tub was a great way to top off our adventures at the end of the day. The cabin is filled with "personal touches," and has the feel of home away from home. If you are looking for a place to get away, relax, and take in all that nature has to offer, this is the place to go. Just in case the 45 degree morning scares you off, 15 miles down the road to Sedona, it was 65 degrees! A "do over" for sure.

Better than we expected.

  • 4 of 5

We were looking for a place not in the tourist area of Sedona and we found it. This cabin is about 10 miles north of town in a beautiful valley. The drive is amazing with all the different views you experience along the way. The cabin was clean. The fireplace was enjoyable. The kitchen was well equipped with a cool vibe. Coffee/reading area has a wonderful view of the tall trees outside. State Parks and hiking near by. We loved it!!!

cozy and comfortable, beautiful setting

  • 5 of 5

Lovely cabin, well equipped. Of note there is a cabin immediately across the street and another that looks down on it through the den windows. Hot tub is nice and easy to use. Stays pretty cool inside even when it was 103 in Sedona.
