Excellent location!! Only 4 blocks to city park/beach and downtown activities. Beautiful 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath Luxury home completely remodeled and brand new w/ loft. 2 stories w/ upstairs balcony access from master bedroom. Living room, sitting room for reading books and quiet, formal dining room, or eat in kitchen on the bar. New cherry hardwood floors, new carpet and paint, never been lived in, new appliances, 2 showers, up stairs master bathroom has a clawfoot tub for a relaxing bath after a long day. Ready and waiting for your holiday vacation. Covered front and back porch with grill for those hot summer days. Wireless internet, cable, DVD and all the amenities of home.
Plenty of parking on the street as well as a private driveway behind the house. Step out the front door and go South about 4 blocks and you are at the city park, and beautiful lake Coeur D' Alene. Walk to the city center and enjoy the shops. Grab a bite to eat at the many fine dining restaurants including Hudson's hamburgers and the iron house bar and grill. Location is close to 3 great ski resorts in the winter, sweitzer, lookout & silver mountain, 20 min. to northwest largest theme park Silverwood and indoor/outdoor water parks for all seasons, street fairs, farmers markets, art walk, parade of lights largest winter light show in the Northwest and 4th of July fireworks, and don't forget Car d' Alene, car parade and show as well as the ironman competition, centennial trail. Great place to enjoy your year round vacation. Lots of outdoor adventure and fun for families of all ages.

The house is in a great location for all activities. Easy access to the freeway and easy to get to from the airport. Close to the start of ironman and many other fun summer and winter activities in beautiful downtown Coeur d' alene, ID.
Many renters enjoy staying at this property for its convenient location and comfort. There is nothing better then going on vacation and feeling like you are at the comfort of your own home having a home cooked family dinner. Not needing to drive around to find entertainment, just walk 4 blocks and find all the entertainment you need for night clubs, food, beach, shopping and much more.
I can not say enough good things about our whole experience with KWI Properties and the house we rented from them. Michelle was very friendly and helpful when going through the rental process with us. We had seven family members all staying here and it was very comfortable, spacious and clean. Coming back to the house after a long, fun packed day, we felt like we were coming home. We found many things to do within walking distance of the house. I would highly recommend renting this home to anyone looking to rent in the Coeur d'Alene area. We plan on revisiting the area in about 5 years and hope to rent from KWI again.
We have stayed at many rental houses over the years, and I would put this one in the top tier. The house itself looks older, but it has been completely updated. It has the older home charm, but it feels like a new home. It is an easy walk to the lake and close to everything.
I rented this vacation rental for my daughters grooms family from MN for their wedding! It met and exceeded our expectations. The home was very spacious and very clean. It is within walking distance which made it very nice for them to enjoy our beautiful city to it's fullest! I would recommend this home to anyone.
We were 9 adults ranging from 25 to 87 staying for three nights in late July/early August. The house is walking distance to just about anywhere you would want to go in town. Obviously, things are closer by bike, which we brought with us. We brought a boat, which we were able to moor within ~5 blocks of the rental. The main commercial area (Sherman Avenue) is only 3-4 blocks from the unit. The rental has multiple porches, including one upstairs off the master bedroom. Thankfully, the rental is air conditioned, since it got over 90 degrees while we were there. The kitchen is small, but nice, and the rental has a washer and drier. The back door and porch is on a relatively busy one-way street, other than that, the location was perfect. We highly recommend this rental.
We were an extended family group of 10, ranging in age from 80 to 15. We found the home to be comfortably spacious, clean & beautifully remodeled in the interior.
It was also located within comfortable walking distance to restaurants, shops on Sherman Ave & the lake itself.
The master suite is awesome with a huge bathroom & great balcony, perfect for morning coffee & a good book.
Our only suggestions for improvement are that for larger groups like ours, the house was slightly understocked. Would have been helpful to have at least one larger fry pan, a set of mixing bowls & more plastic food storage containers. Also a 4-slice toaster would have been nice. We bought & donated a new can opener to the house, because the one there didn't work.
Lastly, we only noted beds for 10, which worked for us, but wouldn't for a group of 11 or 12.
All in all the house worked great for us & we enjoyed our time in CDA.
We were 5 adults visiting CDA in August 2013 for 2 weeks. This house is located in a quiet neighborhood in town and is close to everything. Since we are all runners, hikers, mountain bikers, it was great that this location is very close to the Centennial Trail, lake CDA, Tubbs Hill and National Forest. It's only a couple of blocks to Sherman Avenue as well as all the eateries and shops & farmers market. Very easy to walk everywhere.
The house has been nicely remodeled, is quite spacious, nicely furnished and has a kitchen well stocked with cookware. We had some very hot days during our stay (in the high 90s) but the air conditioner worked so well that we would actually get cold! The BBQ worked fine and we used it a lot. The cable and wifi worked great. Didn't realize that the fourth bedroom is a loft so it isn't completely private, but it worked for us. Michelle was great to work with throughout the whole process and during our stay. She quickly delivered a DVD player when we noticed there wasn't one in the house.
The management was very quick in returning my security deposit which I received within one week of our departure.
We hope to visit CDA soon and will definitely stay at the Garden House again!
