This is a licensed "Home-Share" #215341. This unit is actually part of a larger apartment where I also live. However, it's set up so you will have privacy and use of the space you see pictured.

There is fenced front yard area with table and chairs that is for your use.

A week minimum may be required during certain times of the year.

We require a copy of your driver’s license, government issued identification or passport to complete the reservation.

We had a very good time in Santa Monica and Los Angeles. The traffic was crazy but we survived. Enjoyed the close location to the beach, the walk was a relatively easy 20 minute walk. We liked the close proximity to gas stations and groceries. That is one thing I would put in your binder is the location of the grocery stores with a map of Santa Monica. Our bedroom was very nice and the kids said their beds were very comfortable. Parking was very easy. We always seemed to get a spot right across the street on 9th. Everything in the house worked fine. The suite had everything we needed.

Great location and roomy place for 4 people

We had a pleasant 14 days stay in this apartment, close to everything. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the hostess was always very service minded with a phone call or text message away. I really recommend this apartment to anyone. It was great value for the money.

Great vacation spot!

The House was very comfortable and close to the pier and downtown. The property was clean and well maintained. We stayed with our three kids and they all had a great time!

The property owner is also very responsive and wanted to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We will definitely stay here again when we are in town. Thanks!

In Santa Monica

Staying for great holiday in Santa holiday Monica/ LA. We were 4 adults, 1teenager and a child who enjoyed our holiday in Kathryn`s house and the little garden.

During the day there is a little traffic and in the evening it is reasonably quiet - a reasonably quiet place to stay.

She sent us the necessary information and the one question we had, she answered promptly.

Absolutely recommend this rental and we will be staying there again if our travels take us back to Santa Monica.

Thanks for a nice holiday in your home.

Fantastic weekend with friends in Santa Monica!

Staying at Kathryn's house made for a great weekend in Santa Monica/LA. She was timely and detailed with all information that she provided us, and she always did what she said she'd do. The house was in great shape when we arrived, and we had no issues. Location is a quick Uber ride to the Santa Monica Pier (we even walked once.). I recommend staying at this house for a weekend trip in Southern California.

The staying experience has overal exceeded our expectation, we completely love this spotless, nicely decorated and well located vacation home. We had everything we needed during the stay and Kathryn was super nice and responsive all the time. It's located in a very quiet and safe neighbourhood, very close to Santa Monica, shops and restuarants. Would come back in the future:)

This is a licensed home-share. Although I live on premises, the space in configured so that you will have your own entrance and space. City of Santa Monica business license 215341. 14% City Tax will be added to all reservations.


Cancellation Policy: Refund less fees up until 30 days prior to arrival. Fees may include credit card fees / PayPal fees / Homeaway / VBRO fees depending upon how and where you booked your reservation. Since this is not a hotel & I don't have other rooms to take the place of a vacancy, it's a hardship for me if someone cancels at the last minute.

Manager's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
