This is a licensed "Home-Share" #215341. This unit is actually part of a larger apartment where I also live. However, it's set up so you will have privacy and use of the space you see pictured.
There is fenced front yard area with table and chairs that is for your use.
A week minimum may be required during certain times of the year.
We require a copy of your driver’s license, government issued identification or passport to complete the reservation.
We had a very good time in Santa Monica and Los Angeles. The traffic was crazy but we survived. Enjoyed the close location to the beach, the walk was a relatively easy 20 minute walk. We liked the close proximity to gas stations and groceries. That is one thing I would put in your binder is the location of the grocery stores with a map of Santa Monica. Our bedroom was very nice and the kids said their beds were very comfortable. Parking was very easy. We always seemed to get a spot right across the street on 9th. Everything in the house worked fine. The suite had everything we needed.
This apartment is nice and spacious, with good sized bedrooms and lounge. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking and the entire place is really well presented - very clean and in good condition.
Location-wise, it's a 15 minute brisk walk away from the pier, beach and main shopping area. With the lack of similar properties in Santa Monica, I feel that this apartment is a good price for its location.
Check in procedures and communication were smooth. The owners were also kind enough to allow us to drop off our suitcases prior to check in and again leave them there for the day after check out which was an added bonus.
We stayed in this quaint and lovely home for a long weekend and had a wonderful time!
Kitchen is new and beautiful, and home is spacious and had everything we could have needed and more. Perhaps the best part is the location...just a block from the 10 (Santa Monica Highway) and just blocks from the beach, 3rd street promenade and all our favorite Santa Monica attractions! Owners respond almost immediately to any correspondence and were lovely to do business with. Absolutely recommend this rental and will be staying there again when our travels take us back to Santa Monica! Thanks for a fabulous weekend in your home!
Really well equipped apartment. Great transport links and a easy 15 min walk to the beach and Santa Monica centre. Supermarket and 7-11 close by. Quiet neighbourhood. Host was accommodating and easy to contact if we needed to. We stayed with 2 children under 9 and this apartment was great for them.
A lovely house, with all the amenities and conveniences, very close to the beach and the Santa Monica shopping area. It was a splendid time to hang out there! Highly recommended.
We were looking, on short notice, for an affordable AND convenient place to stay for two adults and three children (9-17) in Santa Monica during Easter weekend. This place did just that and gave us value for money. As such, I highly recommend it. In comparing your options, beware that the place is not as bright and spacious as it looks in the photo. The pullout couch is dated, as are floors, paint, curtains, the bathroom, and the information binder. But we cherished that the kitchen comes almost fully equipped for the average cook (no microwave) and there are plenty of towels and linens. There is a basic shared coin-operated washer and dryer out back (bring plenty of quarters). The location (corner of 9th and Michigan) is tree-lined and nice, with a table and four chairs in the small front lawn we'd easily have used had it been warmer. For the foodie or urbanite, the nearby main intersection between Pico and Lincoln is seedy and does not have much to offer; but there is a 7/11, a Subway, a Pollo Loco, a Starbucks, a doughnut place, and a Walmart. The access ramp to highway 10 is just around the corner (without the highway being a bother otherwise).

This is a licensed home-share. Although I live on premises, the space in configured so that you will have your own entrance and space. City of Santa Monica business license 215341. 14% City Tax will be added to all reservations.

Cancellation Policy: Refund less fees up until 30 days prior to arrival. Fees may include credit card fees / PayPal fees / Homeaway / VBRO fees depending upon how and where you booked your reservation. Since this is not a hotel & I don't have other rooms to take the place of a vacancy, it's a hardship for me if someone cancels at the last minute.
