Hi. We are Rick and Martie Morley from Connecticut. Rick is a Pilot and I am retired from the horse business. I still have 2 horses of my own, I can't seem to get away from them. We have now been grandparents for over 2 years and it is the best. He can always make us laugh. Kept the newborn pic, we like it. Hope to spend more time in Fla. since our younger daughter lives in Seminole, but Rick is not retired yet. Two more years. In the meantime, we want other people to enjoy Ozona.

MARTIE purchased this house in 2009

Why MARTIE chose Palm Harbor

We have been visiting my brother in Ozona for the past 10 years and just fell in love with the area and the people. We fell upon this cute house for sale and took the plunge. There is so much to do here or we can just relax by the pool or ride our golf cart around and stay in 'The Hood' as all of the residents call Ozona. We are only 35 min from our daughter. This is just a great quaint Florida neighborhood that once you come here, you will definitely want to come back.

What makes this house unique

We go boating or just hang at the beach, go to Busch Gardens or visit Disney for the day. Go biking or walking on the Pinellas Trail which is just down the street. There are museums and a zoo, shopping or golf. Whatever you feel like doing, you can find it in this area.

Our family enjoyed our stay in Ozona, a hidden jewel. The home had everything that was needed and spotless. This area of Florida has much to offer, Honeymoon Beach , tons of golf courses ,Tampa Bay Downs, terrific restaurants, and friendly people. Do yourself a favor and rent this home.

Everything we needed

  • 5 of 5

We were so pleased to find this lovely bungalow in the charming small town of Ozona that made us feel like Floridians. It was a cozy home, but provided plenty of room for 2-4 guests.

We found our most important requirements for a rental here. It provided plenty of outdoor space to enjoy dining, entertaining or just relaxing by the pool. Even though it was early in the season for swimming, we spent plenty of time in the fenced in pool area that was extra sunny, warm and private. The bicycles that were provided kept us busy on the Pinellas bike trail a couple of blocks away.

The dishwasher, new clothes washer and dryer, comfortable beds, along with an attractive tropical motif, made it lovely inside, as well.

We loved walking around Ozona and to the restaurants in their small downtown. When you see the small post office, you realize you are in an old Florida town. The people were friendly whether they were walking or riding their golf carts around town.

No more high rise condos or fighting traffic in the city for us. We were hoping to return next year, but it as already booked.

Great stay in Ozona!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I and our two dogs really enjoyed our time in Ozona. It was a quiet, homey area - close to Dunedin, Clearwater, Tampa and a great place to stay to go to spring training games. There are lots of breweries in the area which are fun to visit. The house worked great for us - and the pool warmed up nicely so my wife could go in every day! The Pinellas Trail was great and I used the bike provided to ride every other day. The wifi was great - the TVs were perfect - the house had plenty of room for us and the dogs and any relatives that visited! The pool and yard are fenced and so we had a super time in the back. There is a marina across the street where we visited frequently and had their cuban sandwiches! We'd like to go back next year but it is already booked!

Our perfect vacation spot!

  • 5 of 5

We just got home from a month in this perfect little home! This was our second stay there and we plan to go back next year. We LOVE this home! Very comfortable and easy to relax. The pool and area around the pool is delightful and private. The home is perfect for our needs. Great kitchen with all we need to cook at home if we want. Fabulous restaurants within a mile or two if we wanted to go out. We spent lots of days at Honeymoon State Park Beach! Wonderful bicycle rides on the Pineallas Trail only a few blocks away. Fully stocked with everything...........all we really needed was our toothbrush and our swimsuit! Sad to go home but cant wait to come back!!

Decent house, great area, terrible mattresses...

  • 3 of 5

Although the owners are very pleasant and want to please their tenants, we found the beds to be unacceptable. The one in the master bedroom squeaks, sags, and desperately needs to be replaced. In the guest room, the twin bed is just a box spring with a thin piece of foam on mattress . The double bed in that room squeaks too. We were disappointed by this, and found it insulting to be told that the one in the master is only three years old.

The location is fabulous. Ozona is the nicest area in Palm Harbor.

Great Fun

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for the month of August 2014 in this comfortable, well located home. The pool was a great hit with our visiting grandchildren. The home has all the things you need for even a lengthy stay. Took long walks in Ozona and along the Pinellas Trail--delightful.

This is a safe and fun area for the whole family, just hang by the pool and relax or go to the area attractions and beaches. Golf is nearby, you can rent a boat for the afternoon, take a ferry to Caladesi Island. Go to Busch Gardens, less than 1 hour away. Tarpon Springs which has natural sponge fishing, etc. is only about 15 min. north. The community has 5 restaurants which can be reached by golf cart and a great sunset just down the street overlooking the Gulf. Have a great time!!!!!
