John was always available to answer any questions. Comfortable and quiet stay. Very hospitable and kind.
John and his wife were very kind and hospitable. The suite was everything as described online and was comfortable. We took the subway every day and came back late at night and never had any problems. My wife and I were impressed with how quiet the neighborhood really was. Definitely better than staying in a hotel! Would highly recommend and when we come back to NYC we wouldn't hesitate staying here again.
We love staying at Hancock Suites. It is like having family in New York. The neighborhood is safe and quiet but close to everything. We were able to park in front of brown stone on the street which was great since we drove in. But once we arrived we took subway everywhere. The property was comfortable, immaculate and just as pictured. I highly recommend staying at Hancock Suites.
My husband, daughter and I planned to visit NY for a few days and knew we would be out in the city a lot. This location was perfect. Not too far from the subway station. Quiet community but food and shops nearby. The size of the studio was just perfect for us, not too much, not too little. The price was fantastic. John was very helpful answering questions before we arrived and very accommodating during our stay. No problems for us while there. It is on the third floor but the stairs have us some extra exercise:)
My husband and I stayed at the Brooklyn Suite. The suite was nice and spacious. It met our needs.
The listing description was accurate in regards to the layout of the suite, its location, and amenities.
However, stairs were not mentioned. Being seniors, the stairs were strenuous for us.
The location was great -- great neighborhood, friendly neighbors, and close proximity to the subway,
stores, restaurants, etc. The owners were very attentive.
I would recommend the property to family and friends who can handle stairs.
Our stay ( in the room when we eventually reach there ) was relatively comfortable, but had I know before I booked that I had to climb TWO flights of uncomfortable stairs, ( WHICH I THOUGHT SHOULD HAVE BEEN MENTIONED ON YOUR ADVERTISMENT ) I would have seek a more easier entry/exit resident. I'm really disappointed about this affair, what if we were two 70+ years old couple?, what then? would you still subject us to this bad experience, currently, we're both experiencing really sore knees,
Communication to the outside world, from our room was non-existent/poor, on many occasions we had to leave the room, use your uncomfortable stairs to go outside the building for communication.
I really think we should be compensated for our uncomfortable experience
