The apartment is located in the middle of the Grace Bay community. There is NO NEED FOR A CAR, with some of the best restaurants in the Caribbean, exclusive resorts, bars and shopping, snorkeling and scuba diving all within a 5 minute walk from the apartment.
The apartment is furnished in a contemporary style, granite counter-tops, stainless steel appliances, Kohler bathroom fixtures and high vaulted wood ceilings give this a distinctly modern yet Caribbean flavor. The exterior balcony is the perfect place to unwind and watch the sun go down after a hard day at the beach or pool.

We stayed at Victoria's hose for our honeymoon. Leading up to the check in Victoria was very easy to communicate with and she gave us everything we needed to ease our check in. During our stay, she maintained her excellent communication, this made our honeymoon very enjoyable and stress free. We especially loved that she had a bottle of champagne waiting for us in the apt as soon as we arrived. Not many hosts do this, but the few that do truly make you feel at home and the experience surpasses staying at any other hotel/resort because it adds a personal touch.
The apt itself is amazing! Only 2-3 min walk to grace bay beach...BEST BEACH EVERRRRR...and many bars and restaurants are also just 5-15 min walk from the house. Also, the grocery store (IGA) is about 5-10 min walk.

We just came back from a ten day vacation at French Riviera and we absolutely loved it. We all felt so much at home at this condo that it was hard to leave in order to go home. The condo is exactly how it's described and shown in the pictures. It's also very clean and well maintained. Victoria, the owner is very accommodating, she provided us with a lot of helpful information on where to go and eat out. She was always there when we needed some advice. The condo really is in walking distance to everything you might need, the terrific beach which is only 5 minutes away when walking with little kids, the supermarket, a variety of excellent restaurants, the bakery, shopping. However, we rented a car for the whole time to discover the island and we were happy that we discovered sapodilla and taylor bay. The water is so shallow that you can walk for minutes until it reaches your knees. It's perfect for little kids and really relaxing for the parents. The views are stunning! On our way back we stopped at las brisas restaurant and enjoyed some drinks and swimming in their pool. We also used the pool at the condo a lot and absolutely loved it. We were always the only ones to use it. The restaurants near by the condo are all very good, we had great food every evening, some restaurants are right on the beach which we enjoyed the most. We spent 10 absolutely amazing days in turcs and caicos and it was definitely one of our best and most relaxing family vacations, and we have been to a lot of other destinations before. I would highly recommend this condo to our friends and family and we are already talking about coming back. Thank you so much! We had such a great time!
What an amazing find in the heart of Grace bay!
This gorgeous condo is located on a quiet street behind Villa Del Mar and is in the perfect location. The stunning Grace bay beach is only a 5 minute walk and local shops and restaurants only 10 mins away.
The condo is split over 2 floors with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first floor has a gorgeous open plan dining/kitchen/living area. The main bedroom with a huge on suite and a second bathroom with shower are also on this floor. On the second floor is the 2nd bedroom with queen bed and bunk beds. The condo is imactually clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is amazing and has everything you need if you want to cook for yourself and there is also a gas BBQ. We loved coming back to the condo for lunch after a morning on the beach and then relaxing by the pool in the afternoon. We had the pool area to ourselves most days which was fantastic! Our evenings were spent on the front porch with cold glass of wine after walking back from having dinner in Grace bay. It is in such a beautiful peaceful location, we couldn't have asked for more! We had the most relaxing vacation EVER! I would highly recommend this condo and Vicky the landlord goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect for you. It really is a home away from home with everything you need for a fabulous vacation. You won't be disappointed!!

We had a great time at the French Riviera. The apartment is within walking distance of the main shops and restaurants at Grace Bay but most importantly is even closer to a great spot one of the finest beaches I've been to. Very easy access via the Grace Bay Club and the benefits of being able to use their bar/restaurants whenever you feel like it as well as the other resorts around Grace Bay. Victoria is a very helpful landlord and quickly responded to questions and any problem we had. This isn't a resort it's very nice family home that you can make your own especially if you have small children, indeed simple things like a high chair and crib made a huge difference to our time in there. The Graceway market is close by and you can walk or rent a taxi very easily for the initial stocking of the kitchen. The pictures and reviews are very accurate and I'd have no hesitation recommending the French Riviera.
To anyone thinking of a vacation in Turks and Caicos, this property is highly recommended. The accommodations are extremely comfortable and the owner's thoughtful assistance was a fantastic bonus. The property is down the street from the most beautiful beach in the world, and a short walk from shopping, lots of dining options and a great harbor. I would recommend renting a scooter, you can see the whole island in a couple days, and taxis can get a little expensive. Bon Voyage!
This was our 2nd time to TCI, but our first at Victoria's condo. The condo was everything like in the description and pictures...but only better!
This 2 bdrm/2 bath/2 story condo is on the second floor of the building with outside access, located on a quiet street just behind the Villa Del Mar. The first level consists of the dining/kitchen/living area, master bedroom (queen bed) with master bath, and second bathroom with shower. The second story is where the 2nd bdrm (queen bed and bunk beds) is located...which was great for our 24 yr old son who traveled with us this year. Although we didn't do much cooking at the condo, it seems to be very well stocked with dishes, utensils, pans, etc. There is also a gas BBQ grill at the pool area for use. I found throughout our stay, my favorite spot was the front porch for morning coffee, an afternoon drink, and evenings of conversation. By frequenting the front porch, we were able to meet our neighbors and enjoy "Garfield" the cat. Maybe it was the time of the year, but we did not use the A/C once! From the time we walked in until the time we had to leave, we opened all the windows to let the cool trade wind breezes through...although we did utilize the ceiling fans. The only load of laundry I did was our towels from the beach, and both washer & dryer worked great.
The condo is very well located to everything; although we had a rental car to experience the island, you wouldn't need it here. It is just a 5 minute walk to access Grace Bay Beach, 5-10 minute walk to the bakery, restaurants, shopping, grocery store, and 5 minutes further for more restaurants and shopping. (Some places were walked to were Caicos Bakery, Jimmy's Dive Bar, Danny Bouy's, Pizza Pizza, Graceway Gourmet. Go to FOTTAC in Regent Village to do rum tasting!)
We did have to contact Victoria once due to an internet/TV problem, but she responded very quickly and checked into the situation. BTW, before our trip we did contact our cellular carrier to have our phones set up for emergency use, but when we got to the condo, we learned that Victoria had a basic cell phone there pre-loaded for use (and reload at our cost if needed). What a plus!!! Also, a water cooler with 5 gallons of water for use. Those small extras are so appreciated!
In the end, we were sad to go. The condo was like our home-away-from-home. Don't overlook this wonderful place just because it's not on the beach... we would definitely stay again!
We stayed in Victoria's French Riviera 2-bedroom home the last week of February 2014 with another couple! We were celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary & 10years for us!! The location of the property is ideal!! Very close walk to the beach! Restaurants &grocery store are just blocks away& we felt very safe walking around!!(even ventured off course one day & ended up seeing the local culture& meeting some locals)! We did rent a car (thru Thrifty)for our entire stay& were happy we did!(although it's not necessary) we enjoyed driving all over the island & would get up early just to figure out what adventure or area we'd like to visit next!! We ate breakfast every morning at the condo & even prepared a few dinners both using the grill & the complete kitchen! We were able to use the pool nearly every afternoon and always had it to ourselves! We had some of the best meals ever while visiting tci! Some of our favorites were:Somewhere Cafe(right on the beach near Coral Gardens, which also had amazing snorkeling from shore...we even saw a huge Barracuda while we snorkeled), Vix(part of the Regent hotel) had great food, wonderful ambiance with outdoor seating& relaxed atmosphere, Las Bistras(beautiful view of Chalk Sound, & well worth the trip...don't miss Taylor & Sapodilla Bay, as the shallow waters & beautiful beach are perfect& relaxing, & even had a boat come in selling fresh lobster while we were there!), Big Al's has great wraps & shakes(located in the salt mills shopping area), & enjoyed Danny Buoy's, & Seaside cafe (also one of our best meals, next to the bakery)!! We tried somewhere new for each meal we ate & were never disappointed!! We utilized the guestbook provided for ideas on things we shouldn't miss & tried to both relax & also see as many things as we could! We went through Blue Waters ocean kayaking(self-guided though) thru the mangroves & over to iguana island!(absolutely beautiful beach on the other side, as well as kayaking down to the next beach & crossing to the other side where we had the entire thing to ourselves, got to see starfish, a lemon shark, and a huge eagle ray!) Did a private 1/2 day charter w/Grand Slam Fishing & had amazing results(caught 5 wahoo, 1 over 70#, & 1 baracuda!) Victoria was more than accommodating when it came to suggestions and anything we needed before& while we were there!! Loved walking Grace Bay Beach! This home is everything it's advertised as, and we look forward to a trip back to Turks and Caicos soon!!
