Great Place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay at this Villa. Very clean and a quite ne We were on our honeymoon and just got to relax and go to the beach. Also great restaurants near by we could visit during the week. Saw a couple cockroaches but that is to be excepted. We were in and out a lot at the beach and it was really warm outside. Also it is SC and they just have bugs :D. The communications between the renting and owners was great! They wanted to make sure we had everything we needed and were good to go for the week. Only thing I would change is the "out time" on your last day you have to be out at 9 or 10am. Wish I could just have a couple more hours in the morning to pack up and have a cup of coffee. :D

Very nice condo!!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I had a wonderful time staying at this property in Mariners Watch. Loved the screened porch especially one afternoon when it rained and we sat out there to read and listen to the rain. Very peaceful. Kiawah island is beautiful and we can't wait to come back! Loved the beach...The condo was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. It was a nice time of year to come, not too crowded, and easy to get into restaurants. We loved Charleston and all its charm and history. Everyone on Kiawah island was friendly and helpful. Good times!! We'll be back for sure... Would love to stay in this condo again unless we bring our little dog next time and then we will have to find a pet friendly unit. Thank you to the owner for a lovely stay.

**My only complaint, not owner's fault, is the heavy footed guests upstairs. Fortunately, they were gone a lot.

Couldn't have been better!

  • 5 of 5

We wished we could have stayed longer. The villa was in the perfect location, right in the middle of everything, but still very private. It's right across from the beach with a walkway almost directly across the street. It was furnished attractively and was as clean as could be. It was perfect for the three nights we stayed there. We'd definitely love to go back sometime!

Nice place. Fair price.

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay. The unit itself was as-advertised w/ a spacious bedroom, modern appliances, and screened-in porch in the back. Location was convenient, less than a minute walk to the beach. The owners were very helpful and communicative, alerting us to road closures after a storm and offering suggestions for local activities.

Great for a small family/couple getaway

  • 4 of 5

Would say the same as many past reviewers - clean villa, everything we needed, really enjoyed the screened in porch, and easy access to running/bike trails and the beach. Would certainly come back. Especially great for a long-weekend (or longer) getaway for a couple or family with small children (who don't need their own full beds and are either in portacribs or can sleep on the couch). Highly recommend

Wonderful weekend getaway

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed here over Labor Day weekend to celebrate our anniversary. It was an adorable cottage and had everything we needed for a short trip! The bedroom was really beautiful with bright colorful pillows and bedspread, the kitchen/living room was comfortable for cooking simple meals and watching TV at night, and the deck was great for drinking our morning coffee and eating all of our meals. :-) We had a truly wonderful time - the beach was SO close, just across the parking lot, and the beach seemed so quiet and private. We couldn't believe it was Labor Day weekend because it was so quiet.

It rained most of our weekend but we still were comfortable just staying in and taking advantage of the closeness of the beach for the few hours we did have that were sunny. We rented bikes and rode them down to the Freshfields Grocery store where we got stuff for all of our meals. The kitchen at the villa was small so you probably wouldn't want to cook anything elaborate, but it was just fine for the simple meals we made. The only downside (awkwardly enough!) was that there was not any extra toilet paper in the villa so we ended up running out! Thankfully we weren't there long so it wasn't that big of a deal but we weren't expecting that.

We only went out for one meal and we went to Red's on Seabrook Island, which was a great place. All in all we had a wonderful trip and felt like we had to leave too soon! We would definitely stay here again.
