We have a beautiful home for you to rent, just minutes from CU & Downtown. It's private and quiet, with incredible views of the front range & Boulder.
It has a very open floor plan, with 2 bedrooms and a loft upstairs, and 5 bedrooms downstairs (separate booking required). We can accommodate large groups - but can have no more than 3 unrelated people (per City of Boulder code).
There is a collection of art from around the world, including paintings from Brazil and Cuba, rugs and armoire from Morocco. The kitchen has an array of utensils, appliances and cooking tools, and the cupboards are generally stocked with most basic food. Fully furnished, with tasteful touches like granite counters, slate & travertine flooring; walnut trim; a huge deck & hot tub.
Best of all is the view. Huge picture windows and a huge deck open out to a view of the front range from Boulder to Lyons. Toward the back you can see the famous Flatirons of Boulder. The deck features a hot tub, grill, Apricot tree and unique hand carved king size bed from Bali. There's not a better view or location in Boulder. There are no cars or people walking by. The bedding is first class- the best mattresses, goose down comforters, and good cotton sheets. Sheets may be wrinkly because we line dry- but they are clean & environmentally correct! Heating is baseboard hot water, for clean, healthy, quiet heat. In summer we have evaporative cooling which is effective and healthy.
I usually live here, but am often out of town or out of the country. I have an eco-lodge in Africa (amongst other things) so am often gone. The house is fully licensed with the City of Boulder, and is zoned for no more than 3 unrelated people- so is perfect for a few couples, or any size family. Prices here are for the upstairs only- the lower floor is available for rent also, (add $400) - so the entire space is perfect for a large family reunion.
The City of Boulder requires a statement of maximum occupancy- we are not allowed to , and so will not allow more than 3 unrelated guests. We can have more than 3 guests if they are related. We can sleep at least 7

Australian, been in USA 25 years. I travel extensively, especially now that our 2 kids are finished with their education. I hope to share my love of the environment, nature and art with you. Enjoy this unique and beautiful house, with its amazing views, a close walk to the farmers market, Pearl Street Mall, Boulder creek, great restaurants, university and ski slopes.
Greg purchased this house in 2008
It's unique; beautiful & serene, with great art & comforts. There are amazing 360 degree views of Boulder. Huge space- could accommodate a family of 10 or more! Enjoy our hot tub and outdoor Balinese bed.
Quiet, private, luxurious & centrally located. Bikes to borrow, tea, coffee & some breakfast supplies. Great views, apple TV, carved bed on the deck, hot tub, etc.
This place was just stunning. Large, open, but very inviting. Amazing view and great launch pad for exploring Boulder. Greg was an awesome host.
What can we say, the space and view are incredible. We were absolutely content sitting on the bed or in the hot tub looking out over Boulder under the stars or the sun.
We would recommend to any of our friends and family. You won't be disappointed!
First off the couch in the pictures has been replaced with a modern living room set. The hot tub has also been replaced with a hard side one. I was worried that we would be to loud but those people must have been out of control that had the police called on them. This is a very quite area of town even though it's close to the college. The house is well equipped with everything you'll need. Make sure you get up for a sunrise at least once while your there. The owner is real nice and helpful.
This place has an amazing view of Boulder and the surrounding area. Found myself just staring out the huge window to see the sunrise over Boulder and the great view of red rocks. The location is good. It's an easy 15 minute walk into town, but you are up on a hill so it's a little harder walk back.
The space overall is big with an open floor plan, but the bedrooms and bathroom are small. With only one bath it's not ideal for a larger group. As others have said, you do have folks living below you in the house. However, it was not a problem for us. There is also some construction going on next door, but it did not bother us. Overall a very nice place.
BEAUTIFUL LOCATION, VIEWS & HOME. REMOVED FROM DOWNTOWN YET AN EASY, ENJOYABLE WALK OR MIN UBER RIDE PUTS YOU THERE IN MINUTES. WOULD STAY AGAIN IN A MINUTE. THE OWNERS MADE IT EASY TO CHECK IN & OUT. I WOULD SAY THE FEWER THE PEOPLE THE BETT.ER AS THIS IS A LARGE HOME WITH ONLY 1 BATHROOM. GO - ENJOY!
Google maps is wrong- please enter Jay st from College Ave. We are walking distance to Chataqua park, the University, Downtown and Farmers Market. Nearby is world class rock climbing, hiking, kayaking, and biking. Most ski areas are between 30min-2hours drive.
